It is beautiful because he expressed himself!He didn't just look at the lands and just draw the same thing.He drew what he saw and what he felt like.When the boy laughed at Vincent maybe he felt sad and maybe that's why he drew the sky violet sky because he was sad in the village.So I think that's why his artworks are famous.He put his feelings and put himself into the paintings he made.And he had lots of encouragement  in himself so that's why in the book the boy said he will make that dream come true.

He also was very poor but now they sell his pictures for milions dollars and they don't give him the money because he is allready dead.
