All that in class is supported by images, video, virtual simulations, it is learned more quickly. The multiple existing webtools make teaching attractive, motivating, fun. Content can be accessible at all times and this is another positive aspect.
In my opinion, therefore, new technologies have become indispensable in teaching and in a CLIL lesson can help even more, allowing you to reach in a flash content in language, (audio, video or reading).

Hi, My name is Felicia Papa, I teach in a vocational school and I haven’t any experience in Clil.
 I Think CLIL is based on collaboration among teachers of different subject ,English too, on a useful environment to motivate students and an efficient method to deep dig in their ability and skills to learn a subject directly in English language.
I think that technology is important in a Clil project.;but I have never participated in it
 Thanks to this course “Technoclilevo17” I’ll learn much more so in the future I could return to my students.

I teach in a vocational school. I like new technologies. CLIL interests me a lot and stimulates my curiosity to try new teaching methods and new ideas. Extensive reading -is used for pleasure and general under standing. Reading is, by its very nature, a private, individual activity. My students do not read much, except in the exceptional case, for example the newspaper for sport or for news .In class the reading activity is centered, for example on the engine, carburetor, pistons, crankshaft, and so on. There are different reading techniques and the students should be aware of which technique is most suited, depending on the reading task required by the text or by their teacher.The reading strategy I have taught to use my students are skimming and scanning. If my students read a topic of mechanical or current news the strategy is always the same focused on skimming and scanning. Skimming is used to quickly gather the most important information, or 'gist'. Run your eyes over the text, nothing important information. Use skimming to quickly get up to speed on a current business situation. It's not essential to understand each word when skimming. Scanning is used to find a particular piece of information. Students run their eyes over the text looking for the specific piece of information they need. Use scanning on schedules, meeting plans, etc. in order to find the specific details they require. In my opinion if the book is not connected with what we teach, extensive reading can have great benefits because improve the language, the comprehension, the background knowledge. The students enjoy the texts so they read more and faster.What animates my teaching is the interest to news and technology and above all the motivation, I think every goal is possible if you have the right motivation.
