Favorite Childhood Book

This book is about a little girl named Fern, who saves a runt piglet named Wilbur and raises him as her own. This is a beautifully written children's book that allowed me as a child to visualize and fantasize about adventure and what it would be like if animal could really talk. I read this book multiple times as a child and I remember not being able to put it down.

This is one of my favorite inspirational poems. I find it inspiring because it is about taking chances, be resilient, and not to give up on your own path. This speaks to me in a way that makes me want to take those risks and inspires me to teach others to follow their own path as well.

This is a song I can remember listening to a lot to when I was younger. It felt inspiring and would life me up when I needed that extra boost!

I loved this book since I was a child and it is still one of my favorites to read now to my daughter. This fun story and beautiful illustrations are what have inspired me to write my own children's stories. I have written a few (one for my daughter, niece, and nephew, but not published), however, I would love to become more serious about writing children's books and having them published after I finish my master's degree in Education.
