By this I mean, if a particular word is uniquely used by the author, quote it and analyse its impact and try to stretch to identifying the potential tone/potential mood and how these might affect the reader in relation to the message and purpose of the creation.

Allusion

Once you cluster the stylistic features into major and their subsequent "babies", packaging the paragraphs becomes easier. And you can always borrow some devices from a cluster you're not using to flesh the response as and when necessary. They all fall into place because they are all aimed at the same purpose.
