I hate those three hours car trips, but the best part is getting out and stretching, when the car ride is over. I got to skip school for the first four periods, which is always awesome i then got my stuff and went to my dad’s work, where I usually do school, which is another 40-45 minute drive. When I got there it was around 1:00, I was starving haven’t ate all day. Then I did 8th period, which is math and it was whatever. Then I went to workout from 3:00-5:00, which was annoying because my glasses broke so they were wobbling everywhere. Then I came back and I got subway, which is always the best, always get the flat bread. Then I had breakfast, Dunkin Dounts, so it’s always a good morning when you get Dunkin. Then I didn’t really do anything the whole day except played basketball outside watched some movies with my mom. Then I made brownies out of Oreos and marshmallows, best decision I ever made to start , but when I made them they did not come out as I planned and was very very very sweet. I was watching the Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney Plus as I love Marvel and I’m watching all the movies in order getting ready for the two new movies coming out this summer. I also played some video games with my friends, always good to talk and play with my teammates and friends. I left my house at 6:45 and got to my dads work around 7:30. Today was a good day, I got a good grade on my science test the day before and I didn’t have any tests that day. Most of my classes surprisingly were subs, which I would understand because it is one of the last Fridays of the year. Also had subway and that’s always good. Then when school ended at 2:30 I went to go workout, I had fielding practice with a Major Leaguer, who played 6 years in the MLB, the practice was good definitely, knows what he’s talking about, he’s a very intense coach and likes to be loud. Then I worked out two hours I did lower body today and I did an endurance practice. Then I went to the mall around 7:00 and got my mom a present and got some Chipotle, my favorite. Me: How has YOUR life changed during the pandemic?

Mom: Well, know I stay home all the time, instead of driving you and your sisters around, so that’s an obvious change. 

Me: What have you done on your free time at home?

Mom: Cannot name all of them, but it’s mostly just movies, getting stuff done around the house, making sure your sisters are in school, and cooking.

Me: What is one thing you miss from before the Pandemic?

Mom: I definitely miss going out of the house, it is boring staying in the house all day and miss that outside atmosphere. 

Me: Is being a Mom harder now or easier?

Mom: That’s a good one, I’m gonna have to say easier in some ways but harder in others, because the easier part is not having to drive you to school, but it’s harder because it’s harder to help you guys with school because it’s a whole different environment.

Me: I know the Pandemic as been hard on your company, but as it benefited in any way?

Dad: Well, it’s took away a lot of work because, no one is going to stores anymore because of the virus, but it has gave us some new different work.

Me: For the purpose of this interview, what exactly does your company do?

Dad: Well we do cosmetics for big companies, so in simpler terms we build furniture, as an example when you go into a Dillard’s and you see where their products are being displayed, that’s us. 

Me: So what is this new work that your company as gained during the Pandemic?

Dad: We started to do a lot of plexi glass because of COVID, to protect the spreading of the virus. 

Me: What schools have you done this for?

Dad: Actually we have done this for American Heritage, Broward County Public Schools, and Saint Thomas University.
