         <description><![CDATA[<div>The history of Canada is interesting. On April 20th, 1534 Jacques Cartier, (A french navigator) went to explore starting from St. Malo in Brittany. He had 2 ships also containing 61 men. He was given an order search for a passage to Cathay. He was given this order by King François who was an important man, he was the first king. Jacques Cartier found Canada and claimed it. Thats what my pen pal Anouk said about Canada.</div>]]></description>

Almost every house has technology in it like television, computer, and cars etc. Technology does influence different ways to live because in another community near mine, there are a lot of Amish people and they don't have electronics and their lives are way different. The Amish have to ride horse and buggies and have to use candles.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>
