~ Police cannot break up a protest if there is no safety concern for the public
~ Police cannot confiscate or look at any of your pictures
without a warrant
~ You cannot be forced to sign anything without your lawyers knowledge
~You cannot be detained if there is no evidence to show that you are committing a crime or are about to commit a crime
What should I do if I feel my rights have been violated?
~ Write down everything you remember (officers badge number, patrol car number, agency they work for etc...)
~ Talk to somebody you trust/ someone with power
~ Get contact information from any witnesses (if available)
~File a complaint/ take them to court etc...
