The ISO 14044 standard is used to evaluate the life cycle of the products, generating the requirements and guidelines to carry out the evaluation, which include:
  • The definition of the objective.
  • What is the scope of the life cycle?
  • The inventory of the life cycle must be analyzed.
  • A critical examination of the life cycle is interpreted, reported and carried out.
  • There are certain limitations in the cycle.
  • The phases of the life cycle are related.
  • There are certain value options and elements that are optional.

  • It should be known that the ISO14044 standard defines the objectives and scope that the application should have in the results of the life cycle analysis.
