They started off with an intriguing piece by Alfred Reed which consisted of a wide range of pitches. They played some music from Richard Strauss who is a "German Romantic composer" who looked up to Mozart and Richard Wagner, who both contributed to the western art canon. The final song was my favorite of the night which was "Apocalyptic Voices" which was very intense and reminded me of the Jaws theme song. Overall I enjoyed the recital and could see myself attending another concert in the future. Both of the performers were very good at their craft which made it all the more enjoyable.
