The new school

Most of the school is old, but renovated. The school also have a totally new part, and that is the part in the picture. Earlier here was a volleyball court and some forest.

We are very happy with our new and modern school. Me, who came from the old school, is also very happy with all my new colleagues. Our school really had got top modern.

New, but old

"Midsund skule" is a school build in 1969. It god started as a school for the whole primary school. After some years it became a school for 5th to 10th grade. We had two other schools which was the school for 1st to 4th grade.

Beatiful

The place for the school is really beautiful, but actually it also can be very windy. One of the oldest teachers said to me that when they starting to build the school, the old people in Midsund said that it was weird that they placed the school in such a "windy hole".

"Lockers"

When the students came to 5th grathe, they got a lockers. The students is very excited for this.

A lot of work

The staff had a lot of planning before and during the prosess of renovating and buildning the school, and the teachers had to work in much noise. They also had to move clasrooms and office many times because of the working.

One of the old schools

When I start teaching in 2010 I teached here. This was a 1st to 4th grade school. When Midsund skule was finished in 2020, this school became closed and we all moved into Midund skule. It was a lot of work moving out from this school. We had to empty it, and it were a lot of old stuff everywhere. I found some really old and special posters so I planning to have on my cabin.
