I have been doing qnotes alot recently because I've been taking history classes. There is always one part that I struggle with during the whole process and that is picking out the most important information while highlighting.

I get nervous while reading pages and pages of text, that i'll miss an important detail that will be on a future exam. I tried to avoid over highlighting by reading a passage twice. It takes more time, BUT I am able to take better notes.

I also like to number each paragraph and qnote so I am able to identify which actual qnote goes with which paragraph.

When writing Q-notes I find the most difficult thing to do is highlight only the most important information. This is because when reading, I find some details that are mainly unimportant, important enough to highlight. I don't know why this is exactly, it may be because when I read stories that are not usually informational, small details can sometimes be very important.

I think the hardest part of doing QNotes is choosing what to highlight and what not to bc you have to be sure that what you are highlighting is good so that you can write a good QNote.

i feel the most difficult part of Qnotes are highlighting the most important part of the paragraph, taking the notes and thinking of a good little note to leave on the side because i have difficult paying attention to the text and reading it because i get distracted a lot, and to have a good Qnote you have to have goof highlighting and little notes.

I feel the most difficult part of Qnotes is when I write my Qnotes I either over write or under write my Qnotes, another thing I struggle with is highlighting. The more I highlight the more information I end up putting into my Qnotes, so when I reread my Qnotes (to me) they sound choppy. Then the less I highlight the less my Qnotes are and then I might have missed out on an important part in the text. This is what I struggle with in Qnotes.

I feel like highlighting is the hardest I feel like I'm highlighting to much or to less. But I also feel like I'm writing the qnote is hard too. I feel like I'm wrong because when we go over it I have different info than other people. Also putting the = sign I never put that but when we go over it other people put = signs.

I think the most difficult part of Q notes is that when I am reading the text i highlight way to much information. Or I don't highlight enough. It gets me scared cause i don't want to write to much on my Q notes and have too much information, BUT I don't want to not have enough writing on my Q notes. So thats what I struggle with.

Hardest part of Q-notes

I think the most difficult part of Q-notes is trying to get all the information in but leave out others. It is also hard trying to make the answer short enough but still be able to understand everything. Other than that they are not that bad and even can be somewhat fun if you let them be. The fuss around them is really overwhelming and people take it farther than needed. All in all Q-notes are an easy and enjoyable experience if can work around the tough parts. <3 -Brianna Landry

The hardest parts for Q-notes for me is knowing what to highlight. I don't want to miss something and have it be on a test or quiz. Something else I some what struggle with is turning my information that is in the text and make it a little note in the margin. I have a struggling point in Q-notes and a Prefect point in Q-notes.My prefect in Q-notes is that I love to read.I like to read in front of the class.Also, I like to highlight and chunk off the paragraphs; that helps a lot!Finally, I like to explain what that paragraph is about...

...And then, there is the struggling point.Sometimes students read a little too fast or a little too slow.That makes the words look like their floating off the page(which looks very fuzzy).And then,(since I adore reding out loud)I sometimes don't get picked all of the time...
