(just in time instruction) I learned the parts of the song that I didn't know at the time that I realized that I did not know them.

Question: How do you know who actually mastered the objective?
How do you effectively monitor all of these different things going on in one classroom with one teacher?

When an activity is something one can do it is less likely to be perceived as "hard" or "not-for-me". All were able to access and absorb the material. No one was "left behind". Behind was not an option. So often assignments fit like sweatshirts, covering the material-one size fits most.
