1/2) Child abuse can be defined as any manner in which a child can be harmed. Physical abuse may include hitting, shaking, throwing, poisoning, burning or scalding, drowning, suffocating or otherwise causing physical harm to a child. Another way of physical abuse is when a parent or carer fabricates the symptoms of or deliberately induces illness in a child. Sexual abuse is a part of physical abuse.
