I have heard about this topic growing up in videos, books, church when I went as a kid. I was always a bit on the fence with it as I would think. " That would never happen. Is the devil real". I am still not sure. I don't want to say that it is impossible but are we so small to think that there couldn't be a bigger entity out there? If you believe in ghosts, why not demons? I believe in ghosts, so I guess that means I could believe in demons but is there people out there that are so evil that when they pass on to the other life, or what have they, that they become demons? With regards to the possessions that happened way back before my time, I am curious if maybe those "possessions" were just signs of an underlying problem or mental illness? Without the technology that we have today, it is uncertain what happened and why. After watching a slue of videos concerning the topic, I am having a hard time with it. Some of the videos you could really tell that they were set up but some were very convincing that something out of the normal was happening. Screaming, contorting the body, spitting and even murder have happened with these possession. Nothing like this at all however, this is a bit extreme for me but with the afterlife and paranormal. I saw a Psychic a while back and she was accurate enough. While, my grandfather died in October, 1997, she described him to a tee. She told me that he was with me at all times and there was regret there with him. He felt that following me and watching me as I grew, had kids and so on, that he is making up for lost time. I didn't see my grandparents too much as there was always a fight with my mother (Paternal Grandparents) and they chose to stay away. As a child, I didn't understand. I was promised trips to Quebec (family is from there) Horse back riding and trips to the trailer. Well, they never came and as a young child, it crushed me. (:( ) As an adult, I learned why and I understand. However, with all that being said, I have seen shadows from the corner of my eye, I have woken up to see things like figures at the end of the bed. I have heard whispers of my name and sudden familiar smells. The lady told me, and this is what caught me by surprise.. " Those shadows you see, are him. The voices you hear here and there, that is him". I don't tell people much about it because the stigma. " Oh, you're insane, you're hearing things". But It happens and now, after years of it happening, I just let it go. It doesn't scare me anymore. It used to. There was a lot of talk on God and the Devil on this topic and with good reason. All in all, I rather enjoyed the assignment as a whole. I watched so many videos with so many different reactions to possession that it boggled my mind completely. They were each so different but yet the same, if that makes sense. If most of these people were acting, they did a great job while some needed work, that is for sure. But there was all that crazy way of acting, the screaming, the tenseness of the body, the throwing themselves around and swearing and cursing god and people. Mostly the sound that was made as well. Some of those screams were terrifying, some changed their voices.
