We have started to talk about a mentoring program that would bring secondary school students down to the elementary school to share their knowledge and experiences with younger members of our community.

Pops committee spent a year working with the community to develop our new pops encompassing aspects of our previous PoPs, global competencies, and the IB Learner Profile. It was an inspiring process and incredibly awesome to see it being put in action!

First Overnight trip for Grade 5

The Grade 5 students will go on their overnight trip to Khao Yai. We have 62 out of 64 students going on the trip.

We had an optional grade 9 lunch for the teachers of the required grade 9 classes to talk through the challenges our 9th graders face as they adjust to HS and strategies we could use to help them.

We are PD busy! Some teachers are doing the NGSS PD and 2 other teachers just attended the IB workshop. Some of us are also joining this weekend's workshop. As a department, we also decided that vertical alignment will be our department goal. We will start populating artifacts and evidence to help us reflect.

Following up on last year's work with Ms. Anita Churchville the CPD Office has organized a second and deeper look at the possibilities for strengthening our work with High Ability students schoolwide. The weekend workshop is this weekend! With in-service to follow on Monday.

Also, we connected with our Ratchapruek campus to get materials they don't need that we can use and NOT ship from the US.

The Launch of our Student Led Health Workshops During Monday-ELBs

10th Grade Health students are now leading 20 minute Health Workshops each Monday during ELB time. 9th grade students are required to attend, on workshop in each domain of health (Mental, Physical, Emotional, Social, Environmental and Spiritual)
