On September 14th I went to the Cortland Football game where they won 70-7 against the Lycoming Warriors! It was such a fun day and I can't wait for the next one!

Social event: Stuff a Dragon!

On August 26 me and some girls went to Corey Union to stuff a Dragon. It was so fun to make the stuffed animal myself and is a cute piece of decor in my dorm room

Cultural Event: Raices y Ritmo

On October 11th My friends and I got to learn more about Mexican culture at this fun event located in Corey Union! The event was filled with delicious Mexican food, wonderful Spanish music, and fun games for all to play!

Personal wellness event: Meekah the therapy dog!

On October 17th, My friends and I were able to go to an event hosted by our RA! At this event we were able to meet Meekah, the cortland therapy dog! She was such a sweet dog who definitely made us very happy and distressed in the stressful midterm period. I think that everyone should go at meet Meekah because she sure does know how to cheer you up!

If I was to study abroad I would love to go to the different cities of Italy as well as France, specifically the city of Paris. my family is from Italy so learning about the different Italian cultures can be very interesting. I would love to try the delicious food and see the beautiful scenery all over. I would also love to go to Paris because it is one of my dreams to see the Eiffel Tower and night, glowing and sparkly! I would be able to show my future students the opportunities I had in College as well as teach them a little bit about the culture that I had learned while studying abroad!

Academic Club event: Sherlock Holmes lecture

On November 13 I was able to attend a lecture abut Sherlock Holmes. I got to learn about how he and the movies were created, some facts about him, and why he is such an important part of our world today. After listening to this lecture, I have realized that it is so important for everyone to understand the importance of Sherlock Holmes because he changed the ways that detectives were portrayed in literature and inspired real life investigative techniques. He helped shaped the history of detectives as we know it.

Ice Skating!

One weekend me and my friends went ice skating at a rink a few towns over. It was such a fun thing to do on our Saturday and we will definitely be doing it again soon!
