This course is for parents and carers of children aged 2 to 11 years.

It includes a welcome session plus 8 weekly sessions (term time only). Each session is 2 hours long.

Topics include:

• doing things for ourselves

• feelings

• child-led play

• valuing my child

• understanding children’s behaviour

• discipline strategies

• listening skills

Being a parent (autism)

This course is for parents and carers of children diagnosed with autism or on the pathway, with a developmental age of 5 to 11 years.

It includes a welcome session plus 10 weekly sessions (term time only). Each session is 2 and a half hours long.

• taking care of ourselves

• feelings and meltdowns

• child-led play

• understanding needs behind behaviour

• raising self esteem

• routines

• communication

• parenting styles

• listening skills

• stress management

Being a parent together

This course is for co-parenting couples (whether in a relationship or not). You must attend together.

It takes place online during the evening, and includes 3 weekly sessions (term time only). Each session is 2 hours long.

Topics include:

• looking after ourselves

• being a co-parenting team

• feelings

• reflective listening

• communication styles

Living with teenagers

This course is for parents and carers of adolescents aged 11 to 16 years.

It includes a welcome session plus 8 weekly sessions (term time only). Each session is 2 hours long, and usually takes place online in the evenings.

• looking after ourselves

• needs behind behaviours

• communication

• feelings

• handling conflict

• household rules

• building independence
