In this activity, 13–15-year-old EFL learners at the A2–B1 level work in international pairs or groups to create a shared Canva poster comparing one cultural celebration from each of their countries, such as Ramadan and Christmas or Lunar New Year and Children’s Day. Each student contributes short descriptions, relevant images, and key vocabulary to the poster, and they interact by providing peer feedback using Canva’s comment feature. Through this collaboration, learners explore cultural similarities and differences in values, foods, rituals, and family roles. The activity targets writing and reading skills, with an optional speaking element where students present their posters in class or virtual breakout rooms. To support their learning, the teacher provides sentence starters, vocabulary lists, a pre-designed Canva template with placeholders, and an example poster as a model
