We are the students from a small rural school in Herrera de los Navarros, a beautiful village in Aragón, Spain. Even though our school is small, our hearts and curiosity are very big! 💛

We are very excited to start our European adventure through the eTwinning project “Europe Ensemble”. Together with children from Greece, Italy, Lithuania, France, Turkey, Germany, Romania, and Poland, we will learn, share, and create as one big European team. 🌍

Through this project, we want to make new friends, discover other countries and cultures, and show what life in a small Spanish village is like. We believe that even from a small school, we can have a big voice in Europe and learn side by side with friends from all over the continent.

Somos los alumnos de una pequeña escuela rural en Herrera de los Navarros, un bonito pueblo de Aragón, España. Aunque nuestra escuela es pequeña, ¡nuestros corazones y nuestra curiosidad son muy grandes! 💛

Estamos muy emocionados por comenzar nuestra aventura europea a través del proyecto eTwinning “Europe Ensemble”. Junto con niños y niñas de Grecia, Italia, Lituania, Francia, Turquía, Alemania, Rumanía y Polonia, vamos a aprender, compartir y crear juntos como un gran equipo europeo. 🌍

Con este proyecto queremos hacer nuevos amigos, descubrir otros países y culturas, y mostrar cómo es la vida en un pequeño pueblo español. Creemos que, incluso desde una escuela pequeña, podemos tener una gran voz en Europa y aprender junto a amigos de todo el continente.

The students from the school of Herrera de los Navarros (Aragón, Spain) have prepared a small activity to introduce ourselves to our new friends from Europe Ensemble.

As part of the project, we worked in class to talk about who we are, what our school is like, and what our village looks like. We wrote simple sentences in English, drew our self-portraits, and decorated posters with our flags and names. 🎨🖍️

Through this activity, we have learned to express ourselves in English, work as a team, and, above all, get to know each other better before introducing ourselves to our partners from Greece, Italy, Lithuania, France, Turkey, Germany, Romania, and Poland. 🌍

We are very happy to share our work and to start this European adventure.
We hope our new friends enjoy our presentations as much as we enjoyed preparing them! 💙✨

Europe Ensemble: learning together, building connections, sharing smiles.

Nos presentamos! 👋 Los alumnos y alumnas de la escuela de Herrera de los Navarros (Aragón, España) hemos preparado una pequeña actividad para presentarnos a nuestros nuevos amigos de Europe Ensemble. Como parte del proyecto, hemos trabajado en clase para hablar sobre quiénes somos, cómo es nuestro colegio y nuestro pueblo. Hemos escrito frases sencillas en inglés, hemos dibujado nuestros retratos y decorado carteles con nuestras banderas y nombres. 🎨🖍️ A través de esta actividad, hemos aprendido a expresarnos en inglés, a trabajar en equipo y, sobre todo, a conocernos mejor entre nosotros antes de presentarnos a nuestros compañeros de Grecia, Italia, Lituania, Francia, Turquía, Alemania, Rumanía y Polonia. 🌍 Estamos muy contentos de poder compartir nuestro trabajo y de comenzar esta aventura europea. ¡Esperamos que nuestros nuevos amigos disfruten con nuestras presentaciones tanto como nosotros al prepararlas! 💙✨ Europe Ensemble: aprendiendo juntos, creando lazos, compartiendo sonrisas.

Participating Schools

The Europe Ensemble project is a collaborative initiative involving schools from Turkey, Poland, Greece, Germany, Italy, Romania, Lithuania, France, and Spain.
Through joint work, students from different European countries develop linguistic, digital, social, and civic competences, strengthening their sense of belonging to a diverse, united, and inclusive Europe.

Main Objectives

• Promote European citizenship, discovering, understanding, and embracing the common values of Europe.

• Develop communication skills in English through authentic interaction and international collaboration.

• Encourage cultural openness and mutual respect among young Europeans.

• Introduce students to European institutions through interactive activities and simulations.

• Foster the responsible and ethical use of digital tools in an international cooperation context.

In our project, we chose to present ourselves as pencils, inspired by “The Story of a Pencil” by Paulo Coelho.Through this idea, our students talk about their feelings, their thoughts, and imagine what it would be like if they were pencils — tools that can write, create, and connect people.

Our pencil characters have special names — they are inspired by ancient Greek thinkers and inventors, such as Socrates, Euris (from the Greek word “Eureka!”), and others.
Each name carries a story and a value — curiosity, wisdom, creativity.Through these characters, our students send a message to all the children in the Europe Ensemble countries:
🩵 We may speak different languages, but we all share one common language — the language of children.

There is no deadline, so you can do it with your students whenever you wish.

               We are fifth grade students at Secondary School No. 279, Bucharest, the capital of Romania. 🙋🏻 We are cheerful, intelligent, enthusiastic, but, above all, very involved in everything that is interesting and beautiful. We are happy to be part of a project that trains creativity, the discovery of European values ​​and new cultures.

               Together with you, our dear colleagues and friends from Türkiye, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Poland, Lithuania and Greece, we will discover the European spirit, we will get to know the specifics of each country, we will communicate and collaborate within this beautiful team. 🌍

Suntem elevi în clasa a cincea la Școala Gimnazială Nr. 279, București, capitala României. 🙋🏻 Suntem veseli, inteligenți, entuziaști, dar, mai ales, foarte implicați în tot ceea ce este interesant și frumos. Ne bucurăm să facem parte dintr-un proiect care antrenează creativitatea, descoperirea  valorilor europene și a unor culturi noi.

Împreună cu voi, colegii și prietenii noștri dragi din Turcia, Spania, Franța, Italia, Germania, Polonia, Lituania și Grecia, vom descoperi spiritul european, vom cunoaște specificul fiecărei țări, vom comunica si vom colabora in cadrul acestei frumoase echipe. 🌍
