What relevance do you see in taking this course in this very unfortunate time of pandemic?

The relevance of taking this course in this very unfortunate time of pandemic is being a teacher means guiding the students especially with the current events that’s happening. They have a vital role in a child’s life such as enabling children in learning how to read, write, arithmetic and creativity along with character building, critical thinking and in communication skills.


2. What are the things that you are willing to change or sacrifice to finish this course with good grades?

I am willing to sacrifice what I usually do as a teenager, focus more to mu future and stop being lazy. I am willing to sacrifice the things I enjoyed the most ( watching multiple films and playing online games), to achieve my dreams and to finish this degree. I will do my best and will not stoop low with only a passing grades, but as long as I did my best, I will still be proud of the results.


3. How will this course help you become a successful teacher (soon)?

The university offers a lot of opportunities like having subjects that could help us mold and improve as a person. They are willing to help and guide while I am still staying at this university. Someday, all my sacrifice will result to success.


4. How do you think CTU will help you fulfill your chosen degree program?

They have VMGC that will guide the students well in achieving their dreams. It is beneficial to all for the betterment of everyone in the university. It will serves as the plan for every students and how can everyone attain those. If we were able to accomplish the VMGC, it will be the success of everyone.

5. What does it mean on being “scientifically and technologically oriented human”?
 
It means that we are aware and willing to adopt the changes that we encounter. We understood the changes in the society as it becomes more progressive. That every changes affect our daily living and also to our economy. 


6. What changes do you see in yourself after you graduate from this University?

After my journey in this university, I will now face the reality of life. There will be a massive changes in my lifestyle because it’s time to provide for myself, not my parents. The real life began when we can no longer do the things we enjoyed the most during our teenage years.

1. Flipchart 

Tye importance of flipchart is it's a creative tool for learning. This way, it can catch students' attention to be more focused. Flip charts in the classroom can be used to explain a topic, have a question-and-answer session with students, or allow for real-time feedback. Teachers may use flip charts to display important notices, pupil's work, or come together on group brainstorming activities.

2. Wall Display


The importance of wall display is it help students keep track of what they have learned since they will be seeing it in display. It also helps them make connections and develop coherency between ideas, tasks and lessons.Setting up a display allows children to develop their creativity and to practice a lot of things. Maintaining displays gives an opportunity for children to develop organizational and decision making skills.


3. Chalkboard

The importance of chalkboards is it's a great way to maximize your students' ability to learn and retain new information by writing out key points and drawing helpful illustrations on the chalkboard, students are also able to take better, more accurate notes.

4. Diorama

Diorama represents a three-dimensional scene which results a good learning to happen, and that what makes it essential in learning. Dioramas are physical boxes built to showcase learning on a subject matter or topic. They are a way to incorporate craft projects into the understanding of a topic. They allow students to illustrate an academic subject, the plot of a story, or an event in history.

5. Nature Table

Tye nature table's importance also gives value to the nature itself. It's for children to observe and explore anything that has been brought from nature into the classroom. There are many aims for the nature table. If you teach a lesson on the concept of fractions to a grader, how will you proceed if you follow the pattern in Dale’s Cone of Experience beginning with the concrete and moving toward the abstract?

Teaching a lesson about fractions will be hard but with the help and following the pattern in Dale's Cone of Experience, it will makes things easier. The first thing I'd do is introduce the topic in a creative way ( like using IM's). Since it's about fractions, I will provide interesting presentation like using of cakes, pizzas, and etc. in discussing fractions. Watching creative video clips that's still related to fractions and let them participate in active learning. Taking notes will also be helpful. Lastly, having a direct experience/presentation in a real life event (role playing).

2. Try to explain why teachers discourage us from reading only comics or illustrated comic version of novels?


I don't remember teachers discouraging students since we have our own pace when it comes to learning and enjoying things. Hence, they encourage students to do things that involves our learning not only in seeing. They didn't recommend it because it stimulates out senses. Reading pocketbooks is recommended because it involves both abstract and concrete learning experiences, which stimulates higher-order thinking when compared to only reading comic books.


3. Now, that there is a great deal of ICT tools and applications used in enriching the lesson,   how would you explain its potential use in instruction and where will you categorize it on the Cone?


ICT provides a more creative learning since it has a lot of tools to enhance quality lessons. It can still be applied mostly in the Cone since it provides a lot of creative tools and opportunities but nothing beats the experience that our real world provides.
