January 6, 2007 - the day I was born

I was born in Lewisburg, PA after my mom had recently recruited into the U.S. Coast Guard. With both my parents newly enlisted, I spent my early years bouncing between Jacksonville, Florida with my mom and Dalmatia, Pennsylvania with my grandmother during my mom's deployments. It was me and mama against the world! Even though my life started with a lot of change and movement, having consistent care from my mom and grandma helped me develop a sense of trust and security in my relationships early on. Trust vs. Mistrust.

August 2009 - the month I got my forever best friend

After a visit to the San Diego Zoo, I bought the cutest, bestest, most awesome lion cub stuffed animal in the world (sorry there's only one!) — Tigey! I became so emotionally attached to Tigey that my mom got me a stroller just for him. I took him everywhere and I still do. I was learning to express myself, form emotional bonds, and take initiative through imaginative play. Initiative vs. Guilt.

October 2013 - the month I began to be like me

I was (and still am) a pretty confident and social kid. Now, I have a bit more control over myself but then...whew! I used to run between the barracks of my dad's station and make everyone watch me dance and clap for me. And surprise I wanted to be an actress! This halloween specifically, I was dressed as the Little Mermaid, hot pink feather boa edition, and I strolled around in a red wagon at a parade singing and dancing. I had no shame and no embarrassment to hold me back! My parents tell me that I was the life of the party. Autonomy vs. Shame.

July 25, 2011 - the day my sister was born

I have one sibling and this is her, Mya Grace Leake! I was super excited to have a little sibling. Even though, I begged for a brother for months, I was still incredibly grateful to have a sister. However, I did call her a boy for the first week after she was born. She was bald and I wasn't convinced!

October 14, 2022 - the day I started having school spirit

Sophomore year of high school was when I finally started breaking out of my post-COVID shell. Freshman year had been awkward and uncertain, but by the time my first homecoming game rolled around, something clicked! After this, I started joining clubs, became class president, and joined multiple sports! It was the start of feeling confident again, making friends, and exploring who I wanted to be. Identity vs. Role Confusion.

April 23, 2025 - the day I made a decision

Sisterhood! That is the nickname people at my school call us when referring to my best friends as a whole. I think it encapsulates us pretty well and it partly comes from our silly youtube channel we started last summer to record our senior year memories. My best friends and I wanted to do a college reveal so we kept our decisions completely secret! Danika is going to Virginia Tech, Ally is headed to James Madison University, Caitlyn is off to William & Mary, and for me...I am taking a nice trip down south to the University of Miami! I was so proud of all my friends during this day because I knew we were all going to do great things even if we have to watch it through a phone.

June 2025 - present

Yay!! I am graduating! It has been a long time coming. I am graduating in the top 5% of my class and I am so excited to see where my future takes me and where I take my future. High school has taught me many things both educationally and fundamentally. Truly, I would not change much if I could go back. I think one of the most important lessons is simple but carries so much weight. Walk with grace and kindness. Everyone is going through what feels like everything all at the same time, so stay true to yourself, be kind, and give grace!

June 6, 2012 - the day I graduated pre-k

I went to LaPetit Academy for daycare and pre-k! I learned basic french and met two of my childhood best friends, Angelina and Riley. My favorite memories come from the days when Kona Ice would park outside the building and I would get a Tiger Blood snow cone! We'd also take trips to the YMCA. After building up my confidence for weeks, I tested out in the deep end of the YMCA pool and was able to swim with the big kids! This is where my education began and I started to trust in my ability to learn. Industry vs Inferiority.

July 2018 - the month I went parasailing

Fun fact: I have a medium fear of parasailing now but clearly not then. As a family of three, we loved to do adventurous things together. My sister tends to be a bit more reserved when it comes to trying new things, so we were super excited when she decided to do this with us! Since then we have hiked around the Grand Canyon, been to Europe, and flown in a helicopter!

November 27, 2015 - the day I flew out to Houston

Since my parents were not together and were both in the military, they lived in different states. I started flying by myself on planes to visit my dad since I was three, so this was a piece of cake to me. A flight attendant would get assigned to me and they would usually give me free candy! Still to this day I love airports and flying on planes.

April 4, 2021 - the day I went to Paris

In 5th grade I met my bestfriend, Danika, and four years later we went to France together! We were so lucky to be invited on this trip by our school with other students. I tried to order a coffee in french and the locals were not having it! Since then I have taking 4 years of french classes. We also visited Germany and Switzerland on this trip (Switzerland can't be beat!). We dressed up in traditional Swiss gear, visited the Neuschwanstein Castle, and took a boat ride at night on the Seine! Some of my favorite memories come from this trip.

July 2033 - the month I begin OBGYN residency

After years of hard work and determination, I will offically begin my OBGYN residency, the final step before becoming an attending doctor! This is where I will sharpen my skills, care for patients, and step fully into the role I have worked toward since high school!

August 2040 - the month I become a fertility specialist and work to open up my own IVF center

My big aspiration is to eventually become a fertility specialist and open up my own private practice IVF center. I'd love to help people start families who are struggling themselves and contribute to the future generations.

June 2036 - the month I start my family

Once I finish up my residency (or am halfway through) I would love to start a family. As of now, I want two-four children. I love the names Andi, June, and Grant. Generativity vs. Stagnation

January 2060 - the month I retire

I'd like to retire relatively young. 55-60 would be an ideal retirement time for me to give me multiple healthy years to travel and do other things I love.

December 2028 - the month I see the northern lights

I've already been promised a trip to Iceland for my college graduation gift! Iceland is one of the most common places to see the northern lights, which is a number one on my bucket-list at the moment. I think that these are one of the most beautiful things that occur on Earth and would tell anyone, if there is one thing you should see, it's the northern lights!

may 2033 - the month I get married

If I meet the right person, I don't exactly care when my wedding is. I'd love to be surrounded by all my loves ones and just have a (hopefully mostly) stress free and fun day! Ideally, I would have a husband before residency just because I think it would be helpful to have a spouse to lean on during those difficult times.

August 2025- the month I begin college

Starting college at UMiami marks the beginning of a brand-new chapter. I will be living on my own, meeting new people, and starting the path toward becoming a doctor. It's exciting and a little scared, but I am ready to build real connections and find my place in a new environment. I already have a roomate, Sophia, and am making friends online that I will meet once I am down there. I cannot wait to see where this next step takes me!

June 2028 - the month I have a solid group of "for-life" friends or friend

Most of the adults I know say they met some of there lifelong friend in college. Before I graduate, I'd like to say that I have met at least one. Intimacy vs. Isolation.

May 2029 - the month I graduate and prep for medical school

I hope to graduate college in the top 10% of my class, but most importantly with guidance and knowledge that will carry me through the next stages of my career. Getting into medical school is an accomplishment in and of itself, so fingers crossed! As of now, Duke medical school or Miller school of medicine are great options for me, but who knows what other medical schools will become an option for me

2060+ - the years I will travel all over the world

I will obviously travel in my younger years as well but once I am retired, I am going all over the world! I am most excited to explore Greece, Spain, and somewhere tropical like Bora Bora.

There is not much to say here. I have not really thought about what I want when this time comes; however, I'd want to be surrounded by loved ones for sure. I also want my life to be celebrated not looked back on full of tears. Everyone's time comes eventually. Integrity vs. Despair.
