Teachers meet with grade levels and the MTSS coordinator weekly to discuss tier 1 instruction and interventions and grouping. We are unable to run a traditional bilingual program (as prescribed by the gov't. due to the 50+ languages spoken). We work hard to provide access to mother tongue at least in visuals throughout the school and in the texts we have (books like me). With a very high number of students that are serviced through special education programs we have found it valuable to ensure equity in learning experiences for all.
