         <title>We are redeveloping our entire MTSS system.  Teachers meet with grade levels and the MTSS coordinator weekly to discuss tier 1 instruction and interventions and grouping. Each grade is expected to provide at least 1 tier 2 intervention outside of the school day and every teacher is expected to have time and groups (regardless of ability or disability and based on targeted needs) scheduled weekly during the school day.</title>

         <title>Cultural diversity is at the core of our school by the very nature of our population.  We are unable to run a traditional bilingual program (as prescribed by the gov&#39;t. due to the 50+ languages spoken).  We work hard to provide access to mother tongue at least in visuals throughout the school and in the texts we have (books like me).  We are working on how we see, honor, and learn about our diversity as a school - this will be key in our development of units within the transdisciplinary themes.</title>

         <title>In it&#39;s simplest form, yes, diversity is valued at our school.  There is definitely a need for some development of how we value, honor, and learn about our diversity, but our diversity a point of pride for our school community.</title>

         <title>Our learning community does have a shared view of inclusion and diversity.  Everything revolves around our students who are impacted by disability (scheduling, teaming of teachers and paraprofessionals, etc).  Our goal is 100% inclusion for our population of students who require a typical elementary curriculum.  We create strong gen ed/special ed teams.</title>

         <title>Grouping of students in the class is always in a heterogenous manner.  Students of all levels and abilities are mixed within the environment.  During intervention time we provide targeted instruction based on the needs of the group being pulled.  </title>

         <title>We try to make sure all of our students&#39; needs are being met whether based on language needs or developmental needs.  We have specialists to help target those needs as well as assist teachers in making sure their needs are being met in the classroom.</title>

         <title>Cultural diversity is part of our DNA with our language programs.  We value cultural diversity and work hard to make sure our families understand this.  We stress this at our Kindergarten orientation and during tours and ask our parents to make an agreement to honor that.</title>

         <title>We have a statement about inclusion and diversity that we communicate to our community.  Not all families are fully on board with it but it is something we try to communicate through different avenues and when there is a complaint we refer back to our statement of belief.</title>

         <title>Inclusion is strongly supported within our campus.  With a very high number of students that are serviced through special education programs we have found it valuable to ensure equity in learning experiences for all.  It is also important to add that special education staff ensure there is a strong working relationship between them and general Ed teacher and truly serve as advocates for student when needed. </title>

         <title>Educating our community about PYP and what it looks and sounds like.  Using our face to face parent meeting to begin workshop dives into these big pillars.  Specifically about inclusion what does it look like for the general Ed student as well as the special Ed student and most importantly what are the benefits.  </title>
