 -At the age of 18, he married Anne Hathaway, with whom he had three children: Susanna, and twins Hamnet and Judith. 
-Sometime between 1585 and 1592, he began a successful career in London as an actor, writer, and part-owner of a playing company called the Lord Chamberlain's Men, later known as the King's Men. 
-He appears to have retired to Stratford around 1613, at age 49, where he died three years later. 
-Few records of Shakespeare's private life survive, which has stimulated considerable speculation about such matters as his physical appearance, sexuality, religious beliefs, and whether the works attributed to him were written by others.
-Shakespeare produced most of his known work between 1589 and 1613.
-His early plays were primarily comedies and histories, which are regarded as some of the best work ever produced in these genres.

It was probably first performed in 1599 at the globe theatre and probably written earlier in the same year. This play had an influence on other plays At that time as there are a number if parallels in other passages and Julius Caesar.
-He used various sources but entirely drew the plot from sir Thomas north's translation if Plutarch's Lives.
-Central theme of Julius Caesar us the conflict within and between individuals which lead to civil war and this theme still is of great importance
-The Tragedy of Julius Caesar is a tragedy by William Shakespeare, believed to have been written in 1599.
- It is one of several plays written by Shakespeare based on true events from Roman history, which also include Coriolanus and Antony and Cleopatra.
