A massive baboon had a fight with another massive baboon yesterday. Leaving one baboon dead. The fight started at 6:40 am at their baboon enclosure and ended at 7:20 am. The baboons were going crazy for half an hour but the zoo keepers  have maneged to calm them. Thats all kia maori te mo pea la te fa mata.

This poor thing was kept in the 23c sun all day eating processed fish and his once beautiful fur coat was now stained. This is borderline animal cruelty.

Zoos like this give others a bad name, going back to our golden example, animals that stay at Auckland zoo have humane enclosures with more than enough room for the animals to roam freely. The zoo does not house any animals such as polar bears because the climate is not fit for them.

Animals such as the tiger and giraffes have multiple viewing points to ensure the attenders will be able to see their favourite animals. The zoo also includes a wide variety of animals such as flamingos, birds, tigers, more birds, kiwis and last but not least red pandas! Their fuzzy little faces will make anyone's day.

Some Zoos such as Auckland zoo are informative and safe spaces others are hell on earth dubbed “entertainment”. In my opinion there should be an international agency (most likely as a department of the UN) that reviews the living quality of the animals and decides whether the zoo is still fit for operation. This will be decided based on factors such as quality and realism of the exhibits and the animals enthusiasm/happiness.

This will ensure animals in zoos across the world will have their rights defended.
