After graduation, he worked for 4 years as an expatriate in Guayaquil, Ecuador, developing and managing five Miami Subs and Pollo Tropical restaurant locations as a general manager with ProEmpres. Roberto Heinert subsequently returned to Miami, where he served as an operations manager with Demolina & Associates from 1998 to 2002.

From 2002 to 2022, Roberto Heinert served as a broker with the Ameritas insurance company in Coral Gables, Florida. This position placed him in charge of insurance and annuity sales and client relations at both the national and international levels. In addition to his work with Ameritas Life at this time, he represented several leading insurance companies, including AG, United, and Pacific Life.

When he isn’t working, Mr. Heinert likes to play tennis and pickleball. He also enjoys following professional soccer.
