         <title>Self-determination</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>self-determination</div><div>is the right that in international law and charter of the United Nations, every people got the same rights, to choose their own politics position, and the freedom of pursue&nbsp; their own development of society, culture, and income. After the World War II, colonial country began to referendum in order to build their own country and get rid of being colonial. Some of the national self-determination movement, have their own danger, as some of them may develop into violent conflict, as some of the countries may end up ethnic cleansing. Nowadays some places have violent conflict between the government and the citizen on democracy issue.</div><div>In 1919, many countries have been separated and develop into new countries. This concept brings up in the Paris peace conference by Woodrow Wilson, a president in Europe.<sup>2</sup>&nbsp; No one can give this term a clear definition even Woodrow Wilson does not give a clear definition. He is trying to persuade American people to support this conference as he believes that people should have their own right to choose the way they live also is an important thing for America.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Racial Equality</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>racial equality is a situation that different race have the same opportunities such as treatment, education, employment. Nowadays, some country still has problems about racism on skin color, but in America has a law on racial equality. The famous things about skin color racism issue is black slave, as many black people have been selling to America and become salves. Although the salves have been free from the master and they still did not treat in an equal way. One of the problems is they do not have money and they still need to work under the white people.&nbsp;</div><div>In 1919, Paris have a peace conference, the members agree that in this stage it is hard to circumscription about peace after the world war I.<sup>1</sup><sub> </sub>&nbsp;</div><div>At the mean time that Japan put forward a tender about claim in this conference about the members of the League of Nations to have the racial equality. On 11 April 1919, the members are asked to vote. Although some of the country agree this tender, but Australia, England ,America, Portuguese, and Romania have a contra. To grant a tender that need every country to agree, so this tender become cancel.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <title>Debating racial equality</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Japanese has joined the 1919 Paris peace conference. The former Prime minister Saionji Kinmochi is joined the meeting, he is more interest in European affairs. Japan have two main idea that want to offer in this meeting. The first thing is the Racial Equality Proposal. Japan think equality of countries become an important issue, in term of being an alliance. The second thing is Japanese territorial claims. Japan have face problem with China including a student group in Shantung and also in Jiaozhou Bay. Japan also have an agreement with Britain, France, and Italy for support their merger on the meeting. At the end, Japan only have half authority in this meeting.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Australian has also joined the conference, the conference was joined by the prime minister Billy Hughes. Hughes have three things that want to implement during this conference. The first thing is let Australian to monitor the previous German colonies in New Guinea. He stated that Australian’s hope for New Guinea and the people that dead in the war, as Wilson, a president in Europe, asked him a question should Australian people to pay the ransom for the people whom deputy in this meeting. The second thing is to disagree Japan’s suggestion on racial equality. The final thing is to help on offset and prosthesis. Final, Australia success to fulfill the first two things. The Australia representative does not agree the 14 points that America propose as he did not satisfy for the armistice negotiations<sup>3</sup> and some of the points of the 14 points( freedom of the seas, the call for no annexations, reparations and indemnities and the League of Nations).&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>For Japan this country is more focus on protecting the fairness of each country and the compensation of the war and the problem with China. For Australia this country is more forces on getting a new colonial place and the compensation of the war. Australia also nay the proposal that bring forward by Japan. As the proposal, Japan is more focus on the racial equality that Australia.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
