The Dominican Republic is a very beautiful place. It is located in the Caribbean in between Cuba and Preto Rico. The language spoken there is Spanish. There population is 11.23 million. There traditions include carnival celebrations, parades, street dancing, food festivals, and music. One of the main locations in the Dominican Republic is Punta Cana. It is a great resort that is close to the beach and has an amazing view. The Dominican Republic has very beautiful plants including Hibiscus, Crown of Thorns, Peace Lily, and Chines Hibiscus. Many people go to the Dominican Republic to see its beautiful beaches.

The Dominican Republics leader is saying how there is going to be economic growth, and social reforms in his second term. The leader is Abinader. he has said that he will improve labor rights, social protection, and electoral body's independence. He has made bordar security between Haiti and the Dominican Republic. When he started with the boarder he got all of the immigrants from Haiti out of the Dominican Republic. when he made the electoral body's independence it was so then no one would exceed the two term limit in their constitution.

The Dominican Republic has a very beautiful traditional dress. The women wear a skirt and shirt which is called a Wob Dwiyet. The men wear black pants, white shirt, and a red shahs. The Dominican Republics traditional dance is The Merengue. The Merengue is a dance that is widely danced by all of Latin America. In the Dominican Republic they have a festival where they dress up in scary outfits and masks and try to scare away visitors. This festival is called run away from the Cojuelo Devils.

In the Dominican Republic one of the beautiful tourist spots are the 27 Damajagua waterfalls. these waterfalls are beautiful and you get to see them up close and you get to swim in the waters that surround the waterfalls. The next major tourist spot is the beautiful beaches that they have. these beaches have palm trees all around and has the most beautiful water. the next tourist spot is Altos de Chavón. This is where many wonderful performers perform like the late Frank Sinatra, Elton John, Michel Bublé. Ciudad Colonial is a building that was destroyed and then rebuilt and a settlement was built a little ways away and that was the beginning of the new world. if i were to go the Dominican Republic I would go to the Saona Islands because they have the clearest waters and it looks so nice with the soft sand. I would also go to the Columbus Park because it is by the first cathedral in America.

This meal is a very thick soup that has meat and vegetables. This dish is eaten in the Caribbean and South America.

Mangú

This meal is made of boiled green bananas. It is mashed up and some times the bananas still have the peel on them. This is the Dominican Republics national breakfast.

Dominican rice.

This meal is made out of long-grain rice or Carolina rice and has a little bit of starch in it.

there are not many music artists that are very popular. The music in the Dominican republic is very divers. Singers from the Dominican republic sing grana's from rap to mariachi. Some popular dances are the merengue, which is a mix of African and European. Another dance is the Barahona, which is the dance they dance at their carnivals. The music that they have there is very old style and is not very new. This music is not something that i would really listen to.

In the dominican Republic the culture is very beautiful. their landscape and traditions. I really live how beauliful their beachs look. The water is very clear and calm. The sand also looks very soft and light. In the Dominican Repblic they have may sights to see like their 27 waterfalls. The Dominican Republic has many traditions that are very unique the Dominican Republic. They have this parade were they wear scary masks and try to scare the tourist away. This just shows how different the Dominican Republic is from the US or Tucson. In the Dominican Republic their culture really revolves around tropical culture and Tucson is more of a western place and has very many different cultures. In the US many things they do is to increase tourisum and some things the Dominican Republic do are to chase away tourist. I think that the Dominican Republic is a very beautiful place and i loved learning about this amazing place.
