They claim that men are never told that their legs, arms, and stomachs are a problem for other people. they are seen as human and are rarely seen as something there for sexual exploits. The girls who are sexualized are about 13 to 18 showing that the teachers are the problem. They are the perverts. Dress codes are perpetuating rape culture and oppressive objectification towards young women. 

The students have gathered facts and assumptions about the schools faculty and I’ve gotta say, they have a good point. They say teachers are the ones sexualizing girls. The teachers look at a students clothing and claim it is “too distracting” even though no one is genuinely sexually attracted to shoulders, kneecaps, or the backs of girls. No boy has gone through this even if they’ve worn the same revealing outfits. Showing that they’re sexist. 

The teachers also believe that revealing clothes are distracting to a boys ability to learn. In reality, it all comes down to the parents. I hate to blame them but they simply did not raise them to be well mannered and respectful. If a boy is thinking such things and ends up making a move, shouldn’t they be the ones to be punished?

  It was after my online classes that I got a text from Jammie, my best friend. “Wanna go

  When Saturday came, I packed my bag with necessities and rode off to Holly elementary. When I got there, Jammie and I said hi to each other but it didn’t feel right. It felt awkward. It had been so long since we’ve seen each other because of quarantine. We don’t know much about each other anymore. It was as if we were strangers. We both changed. Our interests, appearances, and personalities. We tried our best to be comfortable but it wasn’t enough.

  As we listened to the music, I rode circles around the concrete while she struggled. She was like a newborn baby trying to walk for the first time. Turns out that despite owning a bike, she didn’t know how to ride it and kept falling off. After a million attempts, she decided to sit on the bike and use her feet to move forward. I tried teaching her but I’m a bad instructor. The instructions I gave were unclear and she just continued to fall. 

 

  It was nearing 4pm and we decided to start heading home. We said our goodbyes and I rode off to home. It was fun getting a sense of freedom as well as trust from my mom and getting to spend time with my best friend. I got to get out of the house without my parents and hangout with a friend for the first time outside of school. Jammie and I planned on going out every Saturday from there until we got tired of it. It was sweaty and tiring but at least we enjoyed our time.

 

On Friday evening I got a text from my aunt saying how much my cousin missed me and that she wanted to have a sleepover. I texted back saying how I’ll ask my mom and work things out. Later that night I texted back saying I got permission from my parents. My aunt texted back minutes (I think I edited that) later saying my uncle will come pick me up. I got excited and started packing my bag. I threw a couple snacks uncle for the ride since it’s like 40 minutes long. After waiting my uncle came to my house and I got ready to head out. I said bye to my parents since I’ll be spendings the whole Saturday there. When we arrived my cousin saw the car pull up and I could tell from the kitchen window that she was excited. She waited for us to get inside so she could welcome me with a big hug. When I got inside she ran to me as fast as a cheetah and gave me a big hug. I put my stuff down In her room and we went out to the dining room to have dinner with my uncle and aunt. After we finished eating, we cleaned everything and went to go brush our teeth, after we played with some of her toys and laid on the bed, we watched a movie before we went to sleep. The next morning I woke up and checked the time it was 6AM!!! I was still tired so I went back to sleep. Then I woke up again, And went out to see if everyone else had waken up. I went out to the living room and walked to the kitchen. I saw my aunt with a big box of donuts which made me as happy as a pig in mud. I went to go wake up my cousin and we both headed out to the kitchen to have breakfast. Later that day we all got ready to go shopping. My cousin and I were done and we sat on the couch waiting for her aunt & uncle to be done. After they were done we got in the car and we drove to a big shopping center to enjoy before I went home that same day. We got home so tired my feet were on fire. It was 7Pm and my mom was coming to pick me at 8pm so I started to pack my bags. 8pm came around and my mom called to say she’s on her way. She came and knocked on the door then I said bye to everyone before leaving, I never realized how much she missed me until I missed her like the sky misses the star.

Victims are persuaded by getting things in return like receiving money, drugs, food, or whatever they are currently in need of. These people are easy targets. They don’t have the the ability to sustain their supply of basic needs. Especially during COVID. Unfortunately, those who call in to the police and say that their being offered something in return for sexual acts are unaware that they are victims of human sex trafficking.

   In addition to this, there is also labor trafficking, which is not paying someone what they are worth for the kind of work they provided. For example forcing someone to work on their farm or in their house for 12 hours a day and paying them maybe $20 for the entire day. Another example of human labor trafficking is allowing someone to stay in your house and forcing them to do labor type activities with no pay.

"I'm sure a lot of people took advantage of that."  The people grow desperate  to get their basic needs. Traffickers look out for them because they’re the easiest to manipulate.
