We hope that the updated marksheet is clearer and sets out the areas we hope you will cover within the 500 words. The marking criteria is largely looking for similar things, however we have tried to make this clearer in the wording.

As mentioned, the marksheets will be used whether you are using the vignette or a real example.

You must say which have been selected by your practitioner and why (or select these to demonstrate your knowledge if using the vignette) - you must include an audit tool and WSA from the practitioner teaching days on these (WSA day). I have checked and you all have ELE access so please review this recording and/or slides for these. 

The EMHP practitioners submitted their 500 word brief on 19th January 2021 outlining their audit tool and WSA selection so these discussion should have taken place with yourselves. Please do not take aspects directly from the practitioners submission as this will flag as plagiarism. 

Key tips:

• Please adhere to confidentiality (do not mention trainee names, school etc). 
• Please note that figures and illustrative diagrams (such as the practitioners chosen audit tool and whole school approach)  can be included, to avoid describing these. 
• If you have multiple supervisees, please focus on your support for one trainee, unless the trainees are working together on the audit within the same school (do not cover multiple schools / audits etc). If covering multiple trainees, ensure you still get the depth needed (e.g. supervision discussions). 
• Please refer to the CLES notched marking scheme for further ideas on gaining those higher marks in your summative submission - such as originality and avoiding just describing what happened but developing the critical analysis around this. This will not apply to the formative as this is just pass/fail. We will offer more support for the summative closer to the submission date also but just so you can see how they map together and how the formative feedback will inform your summative. Therefore - we would not expect students to switch from the vignette option to a live option or vise versa as the feedback from formative will not support your summative submission.
