I believe this image has multiple deeper meanings featured within it. For example, Jacks middle framing distinguishes himself as the main focus, along with the maze. His positioning over the it, looking down, makes him seem superior and dominant to Wendy and Danny, who at the time are in the maze. This could symbolise his watchful eye of both of them. Another reason for this scene, is to symbolise his decent into madness, as the maze is a way to portray the hotel and the maze like structure its like.

This image features Danny, with the Grady twins at the end of the corridor. This scene is shot behind Danny, so you can see his line of sight and the twins. This could have been done to establish a connection between the twins and Danny. The scene is shot symmetrically, this could have been done to psychologically effect the viewer, as everything is the same, making every scene tense, even when nothing is happening. The corridors length creates a dynamic and distorted look, which can unsettle the viewer further, and make the uncomfortable. The use of the colours make Danny and the Grady twins stand out, with a vibrant red, which breaks usual conventions in horrors, as red is associated with evil, or the villain, and blue with neutral or hero.

The scene itself features a symmetrical look at an elevator door, that opens to a mass amount of blood pouring out, hitting the walls and covering the screen in darkness. The scene may not have a specific meaning, but I will attempt to give my own interpretation of the scene. The symmetry used within the scene gives off an uncomfortable feel, as it psychologically make the viewer unsettled. The lighting in the scene is quite strong, which could have been done to create an unappealing strong look, to further make the viewer uncomfortable.
