Without using that protection there would be a 10 to 20 percent crop decrease in crops such as wheat. With less crops the price goes up. In 1980s It increased by 13 percent so many farmers had problem with pests.


I feel if we would use less pesticides it would help the environment more. The bad part of it would be crop damage from pests which would cause them problems financially to their business. The other bad part is some crops keep the pesticide and then we eat it and that is bad.

I think that they have caused many issues in the enviroment and in human health. Once they wash into the lakes, rivers, and oceans it can cause issues in the animals health and ours because we eat the fish in the waters.
