PLNs offer an easy/ efficient way of sorting through what is important to you/ what kinds of information you want to follow. Therefore- it promotes constant self evaluation regarding your needs as a learner and educator.

PLNs offer a community of wisdom

As pre-service/ new teachers PLNs provide a community of information for you to draw your own activities/ pedagogy from. It prevents isolation/ the feeling of "re-creating the wheel".

Inciting Meaningful Discussion

As a member of a PLN it becomes meaningful to ask critical and engaging questions to seek fully developed ideas/ further your know insight regarding topics that are pertinent to the craft of teaching.
