The video is about a boy who unfortunately lost a leg. Every day, he just sat in the house and looked outside. Then one day, on his birthday, his mother gave him a dog, but coincidentally, the dog lost a leg. After the boy witnessed it, he became depressed and didn't care about the dog. The dog saw that and started to mischievously play around the house. After a while, he saw a red ball and ran over to give it to the boy to play with the dog. The boy saw that and understood the dog's feelings. He immediately stood up, smiled happily, and went out to play with the dog.

Lessons learned: The video tells the story of a disabled boy's journey to overcome sadness and self-consciousness. At first, he just kept to himself at home, feeling self-conscious about his disability. However, a birthday gift from his mother - a dog with a missing leg - created a big turning point. Although the boy initially refused, it was the dog's innocence, joy and spirit of overcoming difficulties that inspired him. From then on, the boy learned to accept himself, boldly step out into the world and enjoy life.

Feeling: This is a positive message of empathy, resilience and hope, that any of us can overcome our limits if we open our hearts and find joy in the simplest things.

The YouTube video "The Present - CGI Awarded short film (2014)" by Jacob Frey and Markus Kranzler is a touching 4-minute animation that has won over 50 awards worldwide. The story follows a young boy who spends most of his time indoors playing video games, ignoring the world outside. One day, his mother surprises him with a gift—a small puppy with a missing leg. At first, the boy is upset and rejects the puppy because of its disability, but as the puppy playfully persists, the boy slowly warms up to it. The animation is beautifully done, with a shift from a dark, gloomy setting to a brighter, more hopeful tone as the boy opens up. The music adds to the emotional depth, making the story even more heartwarming.

The lesson from this video is powerful: it teaches us about acceptance and empathy, especially toward those with disabilities. The boy’s initial rejection of the puppy mirrors how society sometimes judges people based on their differences, but his change of heart shows that love and understanding can overcome prejudice. It reminds us to look beyond physical imperfections and value the joy and resilience in others, just like the puppy’s playful spirit. This story encourages us to be more compassionate and open-minded in our daily lives.

The Present is a short animated film directed by Jacob Frey. It tells the story of a boy who receives a puppy from his mom. At first, he’s annoyed to see that the puppy has only three legs. He pushes it away and ignores it while playing video games. But the puppy, full of joy and energy, keeps trying to play. Slowly, the boy warms up and even smiles. The emotional twist comes when the boy stands up—and we see that he also has a leg disability.

There is only one line of dialogue in the film: when the mom enters and says, “You should go outside and play.” This simple line sets the story in motion.

What I learned from the film is that we should not judge others for their imperfections. Instead, we should embrace differences and find strength in them. The film also reminds us to stay open-hearted and not let difficulties limit our joy.

In the short animated film “The Present,” the mother gives her son a special gift — a small puppy with only three legs. At first, the boy is not happy with the puppy because it has a disability. He pushes it away and continues to play video games. However, as time passes, the boy sees that the puppy is still full of energy, happiness, and love, even though it is missing a leg. Slowly, he begins to smile and play with the puppy. At the end of the film, the audience sees that the boy also has only one leg. This surprise shows that the boy was afraid to face his own disability. The mother gives him the puppy because she wants to help him accept himself and learn that having a disability does not make someone less valuable. The puppy is a mirror of the boy — both are different, but both can still live happily. The mother doesn’t force her son to change; instead, she chooses a kind and loving way to help him. Her gift shows deep care, understanding, and wisdom. Through this small but meaningful present, the boy finds a friend, hope, and the courage to be himself. The story teaches us about empathy, self-acceptance, and the power of love. It is a touching film with a strong message that stays in the heart of the viewer

The Present is an emotional short animated film, only about 4 minutes long, but it conveys a profound message about love, acceptance and the will to overcome disabilities. The film tells the story of a disabled boy, who lives a closed and negative life, until his mother gives him a dog that also has a missing leg. At first, the boy is upset, but the dog's optimism and joy of life change his perspective, gradually opening up and accepting himself.

The film brings a valuable lesson that: flaws do not make people less valuable, but the attitude of life determines everything. Sometimes, just a little love and sympathy, we can help someone overcome their inferiority complex and find joy in life again.

With simple, cute but expressive images, along with a subtle and surprising way of leading the film at the end, The Present truly touches the hearts of viewers. This is a meaningful, gentle but powerful work, making viewers ponder about how to live and how to love.

In the video titled "The Present," a mother gives her son a puppy with a missing leg. Initially, the boy reacts with anger and rejection, focusing solely on the puppy's disability. However, as the story unfolds, he observes the puppy's joyful and playful nature, undeterred by its physical limitation. This realization leads the boy to embrace the puppy, revealing that he, too, has a physical disability. The mother's gift serves as a profound lesson in resilience and acceptance. By introducing the puppy into her son's life, she gently encourages him to see beyond physical imperfections and recognize the strength within himself. The puppy's spirited demeanor becomes a mirror reflecting the boy's potential to lead a fulfilling life despite his challenges. This narrative beautifully illustrates the transformative power of empathy and the importance of looking beyond appearances to appreciate the inherent value in all beings.

The Present is a short animated film directed by 'Jacob Frey' and co-written with 'Markus Kranzler', based on a comic by Brazilian artist 'Fabio Coala'.
The gift of a small animal with a leg device has a deep meaning. It is not just a pet but also a sympathy, sharing and spiritual encouragement. The fact that the dog is also amputated like the boy is a way for the mother to help her child feel that he is not alone, and to be more optimistic and happy in life. In the shortcomings, joy, attachment and strength can still be found. Trung Tín

The film is about a young man who is not as lucky as others, he is missing a part of his body. One day, his mother bought him a dog with the same situation as him. At first, he felt very happy when his mother bought him the dog, but when he saw that the dog was like that, he did not like it anymore. Maybe because he thought that the dog would not be as playful as other dogs or he saw that the dog was in the same situation as him, so he became like that. But when the dog was determined to play with him with its current strength and ability, perhaps he felt more sympathy for the little dog and they started playing together happily. This film shows us that circumstances do not discourage people, it is just a temporary problem waiting for us to find a solution, and the young man in the film found himself again from a little friend who had the same situation. Keep trying, young man.

The Present is a short science fiction film by Oats Studios. It shows a future where people can install “presents” to change their personality, memories, and emotions. The story follows a character who must choose between staying true to themselves or using a preset to fit into society.

When I watched The Present, I felt both curious and uncomfortable. The film’s dark visuals and cold colors created a sad and controlled atmosphere. The background music added more tension and helped express the character’s inner conflict.

The main lesson from the film is to stay true to yourself. Today, many people change to meet others’ expectations. But The Preset reminds us that our true thoughts and emotions—even our flaws—are important. We do not need to be perfect to be worthy. It is better to be real than to become someone else just to please society.

"The mother brought a gift to her child, it was not just an inanimate object but it was a new friend that opened a new life for the child, at first when he saw the dog the boy thought he was being teased but after realizing the meaning of that gift, he confidently stepped out into the world to play with the things he liked". Through the movie has left me with a new emotion, a new feeling, always cherish the people around us, do not abandon them but be open to accept the people around us no matter what their appearance, what their circumstances are, we should respect their opinions and decisions, contributing to creating a motivation to live, a desire to live for those less fortunate than us.

Review of the short film “The Present” (2014)

The film “The Present” brought me many deep emotions. At first it was curiosity, then gradually turned into emotion and admiration. The story revolves around a boy who loves video games and seems indifferent to the world around him. However, when he receives a gift of a puppy with a stump, he changes his perspective. What makes an impression is the way his unpaid dog is always happy and full of energy.

The film is made with smooth 3D animation, vivid images and emotions are conveyed very naturally through the character's actions, even without dialogue. This is a short work but the message is rich.

From the film, I learned that no one is perfect, and everyone deserves to be loved. We should not judge or reject someone just because of their differences. More importantly, when we open our hearts, we can find true joy and connection. “The Present” is a gentle yet meaningful reminder of tolerance and love.

Through the video clip I just watched, I grasped the content: the opening is a boy sitting playing a video game, then the scene changes to a woman considered the boy's mother walking in with a puppy with a disabled leg, then the boy's mother gives the puppy to the boy as a friend, at first when he received the puppy from his mother, the boy showed disgust because it was disabled in one leg,But even so, the dog was still very optimistic and playful with its new owner and even went around the house, when the dog fell, it still tried and found a way to adapt and stand up and coincidentally the boy also saw that scene, then he decided to turn off the game and go out for a walk with the dog and then we found out that the boy also had a disability in one leg.Through the above video, the author wants to convey to us one thing we must accept our shortcomings and be more confident in life. In addition, this video is very motivating and gives more confidence to those who are losing motivation to live, are stuck, bored with life, and have more confidence and motivation.

         Nguyễn Chấn Bảo 10a2

Review:

There was a boy, around 12 years old, who had lost one of his legs. One day, while he was playing video games, his mother came home carrying a large cardboard box and placed it on the table. The boy didn’t pay attention and continued playing. After a while, curiosity got the better of him, and he opened the box. To his surprise, inside was a puppy also missing one leg.

Seeing the puppy’s disability, the boy felt a sense of rejection and pushed it aside. Despite this, the puppy tried hard to fetch a ball, stumbling and falling many times, just to play with its new owner. Touched by the puppy’s determination and spirit, the boy finally decided to go outside and play with it.

Lesson:

This story teaches us a powerful lesson about empathy and acceptance. At first, the boy saw the puppy's disability as a flaw perhaps a reflection of his own insecurities and pain. However, through the puppy’s unrelenting effort to connect and play, the boy saw something deeper: resilience, determination, and a desire to be loved, regardless of imperfections.

Often in life, we tend to reject things that mirror our own vulnerabilities. We may push others away because we haven't accepted parts of ourselves. But when we allow ourselves to be open, we realize that shared struggles can build meaningful connections. The boy's change of heart shows that love and companionship come not from perfection, but from understanding and empathy.

The puppy didn’t give up, even when it was hard and that simple act of perseverance inspired the boy to embrace not only the puppy but also his own journey. This story reminds us to look beyond what’s missing and see the beauty in effort, in spirit, and in the courage to keep going, no matter how many times we fall.

The movie is about a boy who stays at home all day, closing the door and playing games. He doesn't interact with people outside, and one day while he's engrossed in playing games, his mother brings home a cardboard box, not knowing what's inside. He ignores it and continues playing the game he was playing, but one day the boy gets curious and opens it, and suddenly there's a puppy. But suddenly he realizes that the puppy has a missing leg like him. Since having the puppy, the boy has been very happy and often plays with the puppy. That made the boy realize and started going out to play with his dog, he was not depressed or inferior about his shortcomings but bravely faced and recovered from there. The lesson shown to everyone here is that no matter how difficult your situation is, get up, accept it and continue on your path without getting discouraged in life

the first is review the movie: the movie talk about the boy amputee and he is very game addict then his mother decided to give him a dog but but at first he didn't like it much I think it's because the dog also has a missing leg like him. The dog tried to play with the boy but he ignored him and even found the dog a bit annoying. But when he saw the dog enthusiastically wanting to play with him, the boy softened, sympathized with the dog and decided to go out and play with it. Through the movie, it showed me that: the first thing is that the boy in the movie is quite similar to me when I was a child, he is addicted to games, which makes me feel quite interested and want to continue watching the movie. After watching it, I can partly guess why the boy does not go out to play with other friends of the same age and does not have any hobbies except the big screen. Through the movie, it taught me a lesson that is to accept your own shortcomings and not be self-conscious about them. Second, we should not be addicted to games because they do not help us. Finally, we should love animals because in the movie, we can see the boy kicking his uncle away many times, even though it hurts, he still wants to be in contact with the boy. And that is all I felt in the short film just now.

Review ngắn:

The Present is a short animated film about a boy who spends most of his time playing video games at home. One day, his mother gives him a special gift — a little puppy with only three legs. At first, the boy feels annoyed and refuses to play with the puppy because of its disability. However, the puppy’s positive energy and playful attitude inspire the boy. Finally, the boy stands up — and it is revealed that he also has a disability with one missing leg. In the end, the boy accepts the puppy, and they happily play together outside.

Bài học:

The Present teaches us many meaningful lessons about life. The film reminds us that nobody is perfect, and everyone has their own difficulties or imperfections. However, what truly matters is our attitude and how we overcome challenges. The little puppy in the film, although disabled, is still energetic, friendly, and full of life. This teaches us to always stay positive, love ourselves, and never give up because of our weaknesses. It also reminds us to respect and understand people who are different from us. Instead of judging others by their appearance, we should look at their hearts and their efforts. In life, kindness, empathy, and courage are the most important things that help us become better people.

The Present is a short 3D animated film that is very touching and meaningful. It was made in 2014 by director Jacob Frey. The story is about a boy who loves playing video games and stays in his room all the time. One day, his mom gives him a special gift — a small puppy with only three legs. At first, the boy is not happy and does not like the dog. Maybe he feels uncomfortable because the dog is different. But the puppy is strong, playful, and cute, so the boy slowly starts to like him. When I first watched the film, I thought only the dog had a missing leg. But at the end of the film, I was surprised to see that the boy also has a missing leg, just like the puppy. That moment was very emotional. I think this shows a special connection between the boy and the dog. The message of the film is: accept who you are, and you can still find happiness, even if you are not perfect.

The film begins with a boy who receives a box from his mother containing a playful puppy. At first, he is excited—until he notices that the puppy has only three legs. Disgusted, he pushes it away and returns to playing video games. However, the puppy remains cheerful, stumbling and playing despite its disability. Slowly, the boy warms up to the dog, and in the final twist, it is revealed that the boy himself has a prosthetic leg.

This moment changes everything. The viewer realizes the boy’s rejection was rooted in his own insecurities. Yet, through the puppy’s joy and perseverance, he finds inspiration and connection. The story’s simplicity makes the emotional impact even more powerful.

Life lesson: "The present" teaches us that imperfections do not define worth.

“The Present” is a short but emotional film. At first, I found the boy quite cold and unpleasant with the disabled dog. But when the dog was still happy, playing without caring about its own disability, I began to be moved. When I found out that the boy also had a leg amputated, everything seemed to stop, very surprising and profound. A simple film but very thoughtful. After watching The Present, I learned that everyone has their own flaws, but the most important thing is that we must learn to face and overcome them. The movie advises us to accept ourselves, not to judge others by their appearance, love and resilience will come from the smallest things.I felt very emotional after watching The Present. Although the film is short, it touches emotions in a subtle and profound way. I felt both sad and warm — sad because of the boy's initial inferiority complex, but warmed when I saw him gradually open up thanks to the love of the little dog. It was a gentle feeling but it lingered for a long time.

This movie has many profound meanings. First, I was impressed by the mother giving her son a dog with a missing leg. I think the mother wanted her son to learn how to sympathize with people who are also in difficult circumstances. Not only that, the movie also has the image of the boy stopping playing games and standing up to play with the dog when he saw the dog happily getting the ball when it only had 3 legs. Maybe it wants to show us that we should never be discouraged in difficult circumstances. From this movie, I learned a lesson: to sympathize with others when they are in difficulty and never accept that "I will never be able to do it".
