Attendance at lessons continues to be phenomenal, which makes a HUGE difference in the amount of work we can get done on our music in full-class rehearsals. Lessons have made a huge impact on our ability to move quickly in full-class rehearsals, and we will shortly be getting down to the nit-picky details that make the music truly come to life.

They get reminded each day at the beginning of class, and know that they can check Infinite Campus to see their current grades, including how many lessons the need to make up. The lesson cycle starting on Friday, February 14 will be a make-up lesson cycle: if students have a zero in the gradebook, they can make up that grade by attending Lesson #5. We have a large group this year, so our sound will be strong, and I can tell that these students are raring to get singing. Now that I've seen each of my 6th graders for a full cycle of Chorus class, it's time to get to work on preparing our music for the Winter Concert.
