My father also found out about my boyfriend just randomly one day, as he was using my phone. And I relate to how you felt to how your father reacted to it. Mine went a bit too far because I was in my last year of graduation and my father always wanted to focus on my studies. He was a bit violent and it ended in a huge long fight between my father and me and my mother for most of the night. There was a freeze out between me and my father too. But it did not last as long. I guess I was lucky.
But I am so sorry to hear what you went through. And even though you are our Manager, know that we'd love for you to not be cheery with us if you DON'T feel like it. No pretense needed for our sake <3

The one thing I loved the most about what you said yesterday was how you told yourself to not fall back into the pattern and give in to the anxiety again. That amount of resilience is hard to come by. I admire it. I too am veeerrrrryyyyy mildly OCD. Nothing as serious as yours was. But if you ever feel like talking about it, I'll be here. :))

Anushka, I think when I hear "don't be afraid to ask questions" in sessions, I always wonder it's not that easily done. but your confidence in your doubts are actually comforting for others and and better to teach the kids.
