Positivism is a 'broad term' (Grix, 2004) but positivist approaches believe that patterns and 'relationships between social phenomena' can be established (Grix, 2018, p.79-80)

I see a city that is the economic powerhouse of Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa. A city that has a measurable population of more than 20million people. A city that has tremendous human capital comprising of people from different works of life and diverse tribes. 

I see a city where each community and class of people, although diverse, is playing its part actively in the development of the its economic output. 

I see a city that has a lot of potential buried within its youth population. This economic potential remains largely untapped waiting for the right policies to be unleashed. 

All we require is the will and tools to exploit these resources.
