The presenter also goes on to discuss how hackers can steal your information online using various hacking and phishing methods.  This information continues in part 2 of the series.

I liked that this video gave more everyday examples of when your information could be targeted.

The piece of information I found most interesting from this video was the statistic they provided that said fraud offences including identity theft costs Canadians between $15 and $30 billion per year.

The presenter shares some really good tips on how to help prevent identity theft, and how to avoid the common traps.

They again share information on how to prevent identity theft from happening to you. If you really stop and think about it, most of the tips provided are common sense. I think the biggest thing we need to be aware of is protecting our information as if it were a currency.
