         <description><![CDATA[<div>This is a 2-part video from prudent financial, in part 1, the video describes what Identity Theft is, and how your information can be used.  The presenter provides everyday examples of when and how your information can be stolen and common ways in which it is used.  <br><br></div><div>The presenter also goes on to discuss how hackers can steal your information online using various hacking and phishing methods.  This information continues in part 2 of the series.<br><br></div><div>I liked that this video gave more everyday examples of when your information could be targeted.</div><div>  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This video from Equifax Canada provides information on some of the most common Identity Theft traps.  Equifax talks about how you can help reduce your risk of having your identity compromised, by outlining some of the most common traps.  This video also provides suggestions about what you can do if you become a victim of Identity Theft.<br><br></div><div>The piece of information I found most interesting from this video was the statistic they provided that said fraud offences including identity theft costs Canadians between $15 and $30 billion per year. </div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Government of Canada's website has a number of tips that you can take to protect yourself from Identity Theft.  It is a good resource that includes contact information in case you become a victim.  This website lists the steps you should take if you feel you have become a victim, as well as providing phone numbers for resources that can help you to replace some of your valuable identity cards.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After watching the 2-part videos produced by Prudent Financial on Identity Theft, I felt that their website would be a great resource.<br><br>They again share information on how to prevent identity theft from happening to you. If you really stop and think about it, most of the tips provided are common sense. I think the biggest thing we need to be aware of is protecting our information as if it were a currency. Information is the "currency" that these perpetrators want.  </div>]]></description>

There is not a lot of filler in this one, just covers "What is Identity Theft?  How to deal with it?<br>How do thieves get your information?  How to prevent it? And what can you do to if you have fallen victim to identity theft?"  <br><br>There is a lot of information on this website, and it a good starting point as it gives you some information on all of the major points of Identity Theft.</div>]]></description>
