Global warming started to get people's attention in the 1980s, but many dismiss it and said that global warming wasn't real. Many years later when the temperature would increase by a higher amount, people finally acknowledge that it was indeed real, but quickly said that it is not our doing. A few years later, the temperature increased by an incredible amount, only then did people realize it was indeed our doing that brought us to this. Electricity is a big part of our life we use it every day 24/7, we need to look back at how most of those electricity is being produced. Most electricity is produced in a power plant, electricity is created when burning fossils fuels, coal, oil, or any other natural gases, burning these fuels creates heat, that heat is used to, well heat up water to create steam to spin the turbine. This is the process of how electricity is created, steaming up water might seem harmless, but what is it the steam is no other than CO2, power plants emit billions of tons of CO2 each year, which is the cause of global warming.
