first week of classes

The first week of classes were so fun. I got to meet people in my classes and we had our first date party this week as well. I am so grateful for the friends I made during the first week of school.

event 1: convocation

Convocation was a good learning experience. I met one of my close friends during convocation because I couldn't find our section. Overall it was a good event.

sorority events

Meeting new people is something that was fun for me. During the first month of school I would meet someone new everyday. I like social events with my sorority because it's so easy to meet people.

campus involvement

I attended a big event for a campus involvement point for my sorority. It was nice. I enjoyed learning about my school.

This was the first football game that I went to as a student. It was so much fun but it was so hot outside. We stayed until the 2nd quarter and then went home.

I don't have any other pictures for this so this is a picture of my classes next semester. It was nice to meet her and talk about classes next year. She was so nice.

My second event reflection is Cheesin for Children. This was our philanthropy event for the fall semester. It was so fun to give back to others and to be able to do it with my friends.

studying

I don't have a picture of the study room, but my favorite place to study is in my sorority house. We have a study room upstairs and it's always super quiet. It is easy to get work done here.

preparing for final exams

As you can see, I have finals almost everyday. They are also all at 8am so I got unlucky. Overall, I am just trying to prepare for them.

celebrations

Before we left for break, I went to a party at my friends house. It was Christmas themed and celebrated being almost done with school. It was so fun.

bid day

I honestly can't think of another topic to write about for the first week so I chose bid day. Bid day was great and I met so many good people. It was so fun to continue the tradition of jumping in the fountain.

meeting new friends

It was so fun finding my best friends during the first month. I am so glad I met them and I am glad we are experiencing all the firsts of college together. I am so lucky to be able to experience college with them.

homesickness

During parents weekend, one of my friends from home came to visit. It was so great to see her because I missed home. It was so fun to be able to show her around the grove and Oxford.

initiation

Initiation was such an amazing experience. I am glad to finally be an active and not sit in the chapter room for an extra hour. Overall I am so happy to be an official part of my sorority.
