         <description><![CDATA[<div>The largest contribution to the war efforts of society participation was the Selective Service Draft. The majority of war participants were brought from the Draft. About 62% (11,500,000) of the war participants were from the Draft. From ages 18 or older had to enroll into the draft, and could possibly be drafted or not drafted depending on their physical health.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In order for the war to be successful, the women took over the work at home and in factories. Women worked in factories building the materials and supplies that would be used in the war. Also at home the women tended to the farms and crops in the fields. For the war, the women made guns, bullets and other war supplies. Plus crops and factory materials that were not all for the war.</div>]]></description>

The Office of Price Administration (OPA) was created to control the inflation by setting prices and wages in the country.&nbsp;A huge part of this war in connection to the rationing the ration books. The OPA handed these to help the control of inflation and set prices for the country. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In order to control Supply and Demand, the Government introduced rationing to the country.&nbsp; This would avoid shortages for the public in supplies and resources and prevent the wealthy from only purchasing everything available.&nbsp;Some of the items rationed were flour, sugar, and coffee that were large necessities to those in society at home. </div>]]></description>

In order to get civilians to help, the US promoted War Bonds. During World War 2, the United States had around 300 Billion dollars of war bonds donated to them from society. They US promoted selling war bonds in very many way including baseball games and Hollywood movies. </div>]]></description>
