         <description><![CDATA[<div>Some things that I do to quiet the negative chatter is:<br>1. go for a walk<br>2.&nbsp; gardening<br>3. walk or play outside with my dogs(they are a good distraction)<br>4. making lists to help organize/prioritize what I want to get done so I am not so overwhelmed. &nbsp;<br>5. when all else fails sometimes retail therapy hits the spot :)<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>When my negative chatter clutters my thoughts I know I need to step back from what is happening in my life. I exercise regularly and find that hour all to myself helps a lot. I am focused on breathing and proper form. It clears my head and helps me prepare for the day. Making a list also helps me organize my thoughts into what is most important and needs to be finished first. </div>]]></description>

Most of the time I realize that what I'm obsessing about will pass and be ok. I have tried is to be positive, talk things over with myself/wife.  It is hard when I come up with many hypothetical situations that haven't and may never actually happen.  The best strategy to date is to distract myself (exercise, TV, music, books, internet).</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>To calm negative chatter I love going on long walks outside, watching my favorite shows that give me all the good feelings, and journaling.  I have not been journaling for long but I have found it to be most effective.  When I can take a step back, write how I am feeling down on paper, it helps me to think clearly.  I can then also look back on days where I was having big feelings and know that I made it through!</div>]]></description>
