Also how they expect the highest of expectations with no exceptions. They would also tell me to have fun in high school because you only get the experience once and that's it. But for me personally, I didn't feel too good about going to high school at all and I still don't. My family tells me this feeling will go away, and I have to go to high school. Although they are high school dropouts so I don't really listen to what they say.

I didn't always have the best experience but some days I would have a great one. At first and now I am still nervous about being in the marching band because I feel like I will mess up. Even though I practice and try my hardest all the time, even though you try your hardest times you still fail. That's why I will go home and cry because I am that scared of being a failure and everyone seeing it. Then the whole marching band that is supposed to be the pride of school won't be anymore. 


How does this relate to the theme?

It shows how high school isn't for everyone especially when you a short like cheer, dance line, and marching. Cause then the whole school, competitors, other schools and etc. Which can put a lot of stress on a person and can make lack behind on anything in their life. Near the end of the 8th grade year, when we started taking down classes and everything I started to feel uneasy about high school. Then by the 8th grade year was finished I didn't want to go to high school, because of multiple reasons. One of them being that I'm getting older and soon I will be off to college. Therefore when the first day of 9th grade came around I didn't want to go, but I had to. Even though the first day wasn't bad I still didn't like the idea of high school. But to be honest i still don't like the idea of it, I just want to go back to being a little kid.

How does this relate to the theme?

It relates to the theme because it shows how getting closer and closer to the first day of 9th for me was a total not wanting to go experience.
