We've been working long hours recently, so we decided it would be good to have time to relax on the beach. We made a picnic in the morning together and prepared lots of food that was easy to take in our bags, like sandwiches, fruit and salad. We set off around midday and got a taxi to the beach. It was absolutely boiling when we got there, so first we went swimming to cool down. After our swim, we decided to have lunch. Unfortunately, there were lots of insects at the beach and we had to put up with them flying around us while we ate our lunch. It was really annoying. After lunch we played a game of frisbee together until one of our friends picked us up from the beach and took us back to our house. Before the dinner day, the owner of the house (our friend)has told everyone to bring something cooked. We were 25 people, so we have had a lot of diferent kind of food. 
Although we didn't meet everyone, we have felt very confortable all night.
On 25th we went to my cousin's house. For arriving there, we caught the train and we got off at Watergardens. There was our cousin Michael waiting for us for picking us up as their house is far away from the train station.
We went for having dinner with them (my cousins and their children)and also for sleeping, because the next day we wanted to go together to a big shopping centre to buy stuff on Boxing Day!

On Christmas Eve, I went to Peninsula Hot Springs. I really enjoyed taking a bath. After finishing work, I went to the pickup place which was on Collins Street. I felt asleep as soon as I took the pickup bus. Because I wasn't advised to bring a swimsuit, I got embarrassed when I got to the place, but fortunately the staff helped me to borrow me a swimsuit, I entered the place with no difficulties. On the next day, I felt alone when I woke up since it was Christmas. I thought I would feel happy if I had a girlfriend. I went to the pickup place again to go to Phillip Island. It took more than two hours to go there. I saw wallabies, kangaroos, and penguins. I also saw the penguin parade. The guide explained that the penguins would come back after sunset, and they are very sensitive to camera lights, I was advised not to take a picture of them. First on Boxing day I went with my girlfriend to have a look in the shopping center Highpoint, at first, we weren’t sure to go but many people had been talking about that so we eventually ended up going there and buying some things. After that, from December 28 to 29, we went to camping in Lorne, it was a really good adventure, since we didn’t book anything. We went by public transport and when we got at Lorne we didn’t find any place where we could camping because all were full. So in Visitor Information Center we could get a map of the city and they suggested us to go to free camping zona which it was about 1 hour from the city by walking. How we didn’t know the place and there were a lot of paths in that place to hiking, we got lost two times but after 2 or 2 hours and a half we could get at the camping zone. That place was pretty nice because there was bathrooms and enough space for all people, also we could see different species of parrots. In the second they we went to hiking because we wanted to know the Phantom Falls and swimming. We had to walk for one hour and when we got there it was a bit drought so we couldn’t swim, but the panoramic was wonderful. After that we went to pick up our things and go back to the city. In the city we stayed in the beach a couple of hours and then we returned to Melbourne. Other great day was December 31, my girlfriend and I went to see the fireworks which was really gorgeous.
