         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>所謂的「Singlish」，指的是新加坡式的英語。<br><br></div><div><br>&nbsp;在1819年，英國殖民東南亞的一個小荒島，把它稱為新加坡。在英國統治之下的新加坡社會，上有說英文的白人，下有十之七八說福建話、廣東話等各種中國方言的華人，還有說馬來文的馬來人和說泰米爾語的印度人。<br><br></div><div><br>&nbsp;新加坡在1965年立國以後，政府擔心新加坡人民在世界上跟其他國家的人討論國際事務的時候插不上口，於是規定英文為國家的正式語言，學校開始重視英文，奠定了英文跟母語教育並重的基礎。因為政府強迫人民說英文，「Singlish」就應新加坡多元文化社會的需要，自然而然地產生了。<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>今天(2023.9.19) 上三年級某班的音樂課。<br><br>學生需要講出 課本上 橘色花朵在五線譜上的位置。<br><br>我驚訝地發現，橘色這個字的英文，全班有一半不會。(但red, blue很會)<br><br>因為我希望學生講出 整個完整句型，Where is the orange flower? 當我發現學生在orange這個用字上有障礙，我也不糾結了，立馬說: 如果不知道orange這個字沒關係，就說 Where is 橘色的flower?<br><br>先降低學生的學習負擔，他們能講出完整一句，就已經是大成功了!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>ELF的優缺點<br><br></div><div>Pros: 1. 將溝通效率最大化。2.增加自信心。<br><br></div><div>Sandy老師分析得很正確。雖然我們都是受EFL式的英語教育，但在溝通時，則大家都是ELF。溝通時，EFL是大家很好的基礎，because we should make communication effective .<br><br></div><div>Cons: 有些情境需要正確的英語，例如簽約、航空安全、學術、考試，這時就要力求精確、態度謹慎。</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;Conclusion:</div><div>我認為ELF跟EFL並不是衝突的，而是並行的，一加一大於二。ELF是必經的過程，希望全體台灣人更有這個意識。</div>]]></description>

It's very popular in Taiwan, and many Taiwanese people like it. The soup has a beautiful rich red color and tastes sweet and a little sticky.</p><p>The recipe is super easy, and I encourage you to give it a try.</p><p>First, prepare a pot and put some red beans and water in it. Let the red beans soak for about a day, but be sure to store them in the refrigerator to prevent them from spoiling.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>After a day, transfer the pot in an electric cooker, add water between the pot and the electric cooker. Turn on the power. Now, all you need to do is wait.</p><p>Once it's ready, add sugar and stir until it dissolves. If you like it cold, chill the soup in the refrigerator.</p><p>In the summer, many people like it cold, and in the winter, they prefer it hot.This dessert is really good. Thank her for spending so much time traveling here and teaching us.&nbsp;</p><p>I learned a lot this afternoon, especially about the differences between tasks, activities, and exercises, and about how to choose words and sentences, which means&nbsp; "language of learning," when planning our lessons. If words or sentences can be applied to other units or subjects, that will be ideal.          <description><![CDATA[<p>We have a day off on February 28th, which is one of the holidays in Taiwan. The day off is not for celebration but for commemoration. <br><br></p><p>228 Incident was an anti-government uprising (起義) in Taiwan that began on February 27, 1947. The whole incident broke out (爆發) because of a quarrel between the government inspectors (檢查人員) and a widowed cigarette peddler (兜售者) leading to(造成) an innocent bystander (無辜的旁觀者[ˋbaɪ͵stændɚ]) dead.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Rome was not built in a day. People's anger at the government had already reached unprecedented (前所未有的[ʌnˋprɛsə͵dɛntɪd] ) levels. Examples of public discontent (不滿[dɪskənˋtɛnt]) included the black market, runaway inflation, corrupt (貪腐的) officials, bad policies, unemployment, discrimination (歧視[dɪ͵skrɪməˋneʃən]), and food shortages.</p><p><br></p><p>原本單純的治安事件演變為社會運動，最終導致官民間的對抗衝突與軍隊鎮壓。</p><p><br></p><p>Thousands more people vanished [人間蒸發] , died, or were imprisoned [被關].</p><p><br></p><p>The incident led to four decades of human rights violations (侵犯), also known as the "White Terror" period, in which freedom of speech, assembly (集會[əˋsɛmblɪ]) and others were limited.</p><p><br></p><p>Martial law(戒嚴[ˋmɑrʃəl]) was finally lifted(解除) in 1987.</p><p><br></p><p>February 28th has been declared (宣布) as a peace memorial (高音在me) day and a public holiday to urge (敦促) more discussions on this tragic but important event.</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello, everyone. I'd like to share a Taiwanese fairy tale with you called "The Aunt Tiger." You might be familiar with the story of "Little Red Riding Hood" – there's a wolf that can eat people. Similarly, in "The Aunt Tiger," there's a tiger that can also eat people, especially when children are home alone. This fairy tale serves as educational material for safety, teaching children not to let strangers into their houses when alone.</p><p><br></p><p>In Taiwan, there's a song named Aunt Tiger. The song says that if kids don't go to bed on time, the Aunt Tiger will come and eat them up. Parents use this song to encourage kids to have a good bedtime routine. </p><p><br></p><p>Both the story and the song are popular in Taiwan. Besides that, I think this song is not a typical lullaby because it has a special style. To be precise, the lyrics are a bit threatening instead of warm. It's part of our culture in Taiwan.</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I'm going to share two taboos in Taiwan with you. I am a music teacher and this is my experience. I asked the student to go home and practice playing the flute. The student was very embarrassed and said that his family stipulated that he could not play the flute at home because it would attract ghosts.</p><p><br></p><p>The second taboo is also my own experience. One time I went to the hospital at night and took the elevator that transported hospital beds instead of the visitor elevator. When I got home, the TV turned on automatically. I felt very strange and scared. I thought it might be a ghost following me home.</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

(蔡琴)</p><p><br></p><p>Someone once said, "pain is what you feel when making progress."</p><p><br></p><p>從去年 (2023) 七月踏進文藻校園的半年來，超級疲累，卻無敵充實。每週二因為公務，18:00才離校。趕緊洗澡、備餐、連上Webex，坐在電腦前待命。21:00下課後，抓緊記憶最深的時機，立刻作筆記，上傳到Padlet筆記牆，差不多22:00才離開書桌。</p><p><br></p><p>* 遇到對的人</p><p>上天感受到我求知若渴的心，把我安排在葉老師的B班。Sandy老師像引路人，高舉著火把，帶領我們學習雙語教育的理論，更在第二、三階段時，仔細雕琢我們的實務能力。</p><p><br></p><p>*Before &amp; After</p><p>才短短的兩三個月，我感受到自己的快速成長。我想談談自己的Before &amp; After.</p><ol><li><p>進文藻之前，我在上音樂課時，也會講英文，用我那時候自以為對雙語教育理解的方式進行，就是講一句英文，緊接著講一句翻譯的中文。上了學分班之後，才知道這是錯的! 現在，我的translanguaging運用得還不錯!</p><p><br></p></li><li><p>進文藻之前，我對於&lt;寫教案&gt;這件事覺得好陌生，已有N年沒寫了吧? 有一種害怕去碰觸的感覺。去年十月時，教授入校諮詢輔導，我竟然寫出了一部超級詳案，整單元多達1.3萬個字。這要感謝學分班教授們給我的充足養分!</p><p><br></p></li><li><p>具備該有的理論、概念之後，我時常回頭檢視自己的教學是否符應? 在寫教案、活動設計，以及教學實踐的時候，經常去核對看看，是否符合在學分班學到的雙語教育的精神。</p><p><br></p></li><li><p>回首過去半年，覺得不可思議，竟然做了這麼多事! (同時也快忘了如何煮飯......) 觀摩教學的次數多達3次，包括台中教育大學雙語研究中心的師資生29名。這半年，也從Sandy老師身上，學到好多教學app, 其中WordWall是目前用得最廣的，每一班都有自己的一個WordWall, 等於是該班的學習歷程；之後如果換別的老師教音樂課，這些學過的英語字詞，都利於傳承下去，繼續堆疊到學生畢業。</p><p><br></p></li><li><p>學海無涯，感謝學分班優質的同學們! 感謝優秀的Sandy老師的啟發與教導! 某次跟Sandy老師互動時，她贈與了金句，我謹記、珍藏著。在2023.12.12與中教大師資生分享時，也送給他們這句話:</p></li></ol><p>Progress a bit every single day, eventually you will surprise yourself.</p><p><br></p><p>另外，Sandy老師在2024.1.2這堂課，說了這句警語: "不要做無效的雙語教學"。</p><p>我將帶著這兩句話，在理想的道路上繼續前行! </p><p><br></p><p>謝謝大家!  珍重再見!</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <title>(心得) 我如何準備micro teaching</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>走著走著，也來到了最後一堂了，18週來，沒有請假過，都一直stick在B班。</p><p><br></p><p>今天的上課時間幾乎是為三階的micro teaching做暖身。因為我目前執行教育部的部領計畫是在三年級實施，因此拿起三下的教科書來挑選主題。</p><p><br></p><p>顧及文藻的教室沒有鋼琴，而且Sandy老師要檢核我們會不會用教學遊戲軟體，因此完全不考慮那種&lt;唱&gt;、&lt;吹&gt;、&lt;跳&gt;的活動，最後選定了&lt;認識鋼琴&gt;，很適合用PPT和WordWall來上課。</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>我習慣直接寫詳案，所謂魔鬼藏在細節裡，每一個小環節是否串得合理、有邏輯，非得逐字逐句擬下才行。</p><p><br></p><p>文藻教室沒有鋼琴，但我又想讓學生觀察鋼琴的內部結構，光這點，我就想了很久，最後是自錄影片。右手彈琴，左手拿著手機錄影。</p><p><br></p><p>還有一個部分其實是我最擔心的，就是技術層面。實在不想做好的PPT，登場時影片沒有連結到，或者沒有聲音。再者，我希望演示的時候，是非常順暢的，不想時常要跳出PPT，另外去開影片，然後又進來PPT，這樣進進出出很不OK! 當然，也要考慮網路問題，這個簡報不能依賴網路，不然萬一網路出槌，那就GG了!</p><p><br></p><p>實驗了很多方案，必須符合</p><p>   1. 操作不要進進出出。</p><ol start="2"><li><p>影片要有聲音。</p></li><li><p>不能依賴網路。</p><p>我也找了電腦執秘跟我一起試驗，最後的方案是:</p><ol><li><p>不能用Canva (因為需要網路)</p></li></ol><ol start="2"><li><p>不能用Google 自家的Slides 做</p></li><li><p>決定用傳統的PPT做，影片不能用連結網址式的，要把影片事先剪好、然後插到PPT裡面。</p></li></ol></li></ol><p>詳案寫好後，才去做PPT和WordWall。這三者是連動的，如果詳案有改，其他兩個也需要去做檢查與修改。</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Actually, I'm quite looking forward to the upcoming micro teaching!</p><p><br></p>]]></description>
