They're lack of technology and consider the Internet as an alien concept.
5) When a story is published on the newspapers or TV, journalists can start working on a new follow up story whereas on the Internet, you have to keep updating the story.

Group members: Ian Kaam, Michael Cheang, Jeff Gan, Nick Chin

-----

1. Since news can be published instantly, some journalists may want to publish their content fast which might mean less time to research.

2. News articles can be edited any time and this may be used for malicious purposes (change of opinions, mislead readers, correcting mistakes and errors without being transparent)

3. Online journalism is open. Not everyone can be classified as a legitimate journalist but anyone and everyone can start a blog and publish their opinions or take on news. Therefore internet users have to be attentive and objective when they read news online. Fact checking is often an overlooked practice which means that plenty of people may believe inaccurate news.

4. Rural areas and underdeveloped nations may have difficulties accessing online news as these areas may have bad or even non-existent internet coverage.
