Instead of buying plastic water bottles everytime I run out, I have a water bottle that I can just fill up. Therefore reducing the amount of plastic bottles I’m throwing away.

When I go to the shop I bring my own bags instead of buying plastic bags each time I go. This also reduces the amount of plastic that is being wasted.

At my work placement, I got set a task to complete. I was struggling with this task, so I asked one of my colleagues and communicated with him, to figure out the best way to complete the task. Without the communication in this situation I would've struggled and may of not of completed the task.

At the start of college, communication was key as it helped me make friends which is good for social kills, which will help me when moving into the construction industry in later life. Without this communication I wouldn’t have any friends and I would be struggling for the future in the industry.

In summer I worked in a warehouse, this helped me get an understanding of what it is like in other working environments. It allowed me to communicate with the workers and make new friends. Without this i wouldn’t be as confident and it would be harder to talk to other people.

I play football, for wombell town fc. This helps me with my communication especially in a team. Therefore, my teamwork skills will get better and communication skills will get better. I can take this into the industry also.
