2. This is a book with text instructions on sound meditation. The audience reads poems from the book through a microphone. (This is a homemade art book in which I also use Cyanotype, special biological materials, woolen needlework, etc.)

Almost all forms of meditation involve three similar occult phenomena: 1) the cultivation of altered states of consciousness; 2) the eventual development of psychic powers; 3) The possibility of spirit possession. The ASC effect produced by meditation is an occult phenomenon. Sound meditation is a specific and inwardly exploratory form of meditation. The listening and creative experience of sound meditation is a dialogue with the spirit and consciousness of the self, similar to the occult practice of invocation, which I consider to be a dialogue with the soul of the self.

They conclude, “Effective meditation induces radical changes in a meditator’s way of experiencing [reality]."

Oliveros recalled, “I began to retreat. I didn’t want to play concerts. I began to turn inward.” She found this private music-making to be soothing, both mentally and physically, a respite from the traumatic news of the world. What remains of those experiments in self-care is a small collection of text-based scores called “Sonic Meditations.” When she published them, in 1971, she shared her goals, which included “expanded consciousness”..."

My understanding of sound meditation is also based on its alteration of consciousness, that is, how it produces ASC phenomena similar to rituals in the occult. My work incorporates specific sounds from nature, human body movements, and textual instructions that are personal to me.

Binaural beats are sounds with slightly different frequencies that when combined create new frequencies that are almost inaudible. Although binaural beats are technically an auditory illusion, I think binaural beats can help us with sound meditation. Some people try to use binaural beats to open or activate the "third eye". People use the "third eye" for spiritual visions and out-of-body experiences, while some Buddhists believe that one can have visions beyond the material realm.

During sound meditation, the healing effect of auditory illusions that can be felt by the binaural senses is akin to the spiritual guidance given by occult divination.

Three movement sensors are placed in the centre of each mandala.

This is a piece of electronic music created with morse code sampling, radio noise and human breathing voice, which are recording of people's poem readingh. I'll try to create a similar sound illusion effect as the binaural beat use these sound elements.

Radio noise and morse code is an idealistic form of dialogue with the spirit in the occult field. The continuous Morse code formed by the sound of people reading poems aloud forms a kind of duet with the drone and radio noise in the field of telecommunications.

In terms of musicality, the GRM plug-in's shuffling, filter, phaser, grain delay, flanger, and other acoustic changes help create rich musical layers and contrast in frequency and sound. The operator was used to adjust and refine the sound envelope, adding structural contrasts and differences.

When the microphone captures the reader's voice in real time, Core XY Plotter analyses the different volume, phase data of the reader's voice, so as to draw the corresponding colourful morse code patterns according to the computer programming.

This is a space for the reader to shape a private, interactive audio-visual experience. Through the use of Morse code sounds and abstract colorful printing , the reader/audience is able to connect with the conscious superego in a meditative process.

This is a special sound imagery in an idealistic form.

developed it with Processing, interactive software that records individuals' voice and

breathing patterns. The programming I designed in the Processing software was able to detect people's breathing rate, speaking volume and speed, and then gradually draw a colourful aura circle from a blank space. This circle has been named the "aura circle" due to the colours used in the design that emulate common aura reading representations utilised in meditation practices.
