To begin, we will watch the OVA "Critical Incidents" from Unit 2 and complete the corresponding activities. Next, we will identify a significant event that took place in our classrooms and record a 3-4 minute video where we describe and evaluate the incident. In the video, we will reflect on our teaching experiences, describing what happened, the context, the events leading up to the incident, and its immediate consequences. We will analyze why the incident occurred, considering the broader classroom dynamics rather than a simple cause-and-effect explanation. Finally, we will evaluate how this incident changed our understanding of teaching and how it may influence our future practices. To deepen our reflection, we will answer key questions, such as why this incident was significant, what happened immediately before and after, how we reacted at the time, and what our interpretation of the event is.
