         <description><![CDATA[<div>Every living thing is always evolving in some way. Things like doctors adapting to radiation to pocket moths on trees, everything is always adapting to better survive their environment. This can also be known as "survival of the fittest." Populations show variations for almost every trait. Certain variations will improve an organism's survivor-ship and if the trait is heritable, the frequency will increase with each generation. I believe that this is the most important because the phrase "survival of the fittest" has been used in our day to day lives. I won't forget that.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Descent with Modification: When parents have offspring, they look and behave slightly different than their parents because of random genetic mutations. Traits in species will vary in different areas to adapt to their surroundings. This shows that no matter what the organism is, the offspring will never look exactly like their parents. For example, we do not look exactly like our parents, which is an easy way to remember descent with modification. This is in the middle because it is also equally important as natural selection (#2) and common descent (#4).</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Some of Charles Darwin’s Theory Examples include: drug resistance in bacteria, pesticide resistance in plants, rabbits and myxomatosis, and industrial melanism. Darwin was the first person to argue that all species had descended from only one or a few original kinds of life. He collected, studied, and stored organisms. His Galapagos Island observations of the 13 different species of finches are very important. He suspected they all came from one ancestral finch. Though this point is very important, it can be hard to remember the specifics of Darwin's theory. The fact that he, more or less, discovered evolution and natural selection is all I can remember off the top of my head. Therefore, it is the last point.</div>]]></description>
