While being affected by polio in each of his legs, this man still decides to save the peacock. Nadeem Kahn risked his own life by jumping into the lake, especially considering his limited use of his legs, to save a poor creature's life. I think it just goes to show how a little bit of kindness can go a long way. Just last weekend my mom and I were in Williamsport, PA, for a party and we came across a small box turtle crossing the road. We stopped to assist it off the road, but there was a car coming the other direction. Thankfully the other driver saw the turtle and stopped so the turtle could be moved off the road. It's good karma and if you are able to save a fellow living creature why wouldn't you. If everyone in the world cared as much about animals as him, extinction of multiple species would not be as nearly as big of an issue as it is today. People need to invest more time into caring for animals and the environment around us. It is so important that we start taking better care of our planet, especially if we want to continue living with fresh air and all of the resources that we have. The man dove in to save the peacock even though he is affected by polio in both of his legs. While no one else was brave enough to jump in a save the bird, he chose to take it upon himself and put all that he could into saving the bird. Nadeem did not let his physical disability stop him from saving the peacock.
